So who remembers the Hooked On… phenomenon anyway?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nPl2pbliAM — Nights In White Satin
I, too, get the Moody Blues now and then.

Nice backing tracks they laid down here.

I'm really hoping you can listen to this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LfD-RcAzKM — Skerjarokk w/ Logar
I expect most here will recognise this tune and even be able to name it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qF5Rak_AG0 — Stakkels Jim w/ Logar
This one, too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6fuCHks38w — Þín Svanhvít w/ Logar
But not this one.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAaUWyNS2Pk — Í góðu skapi w/ Sniglabandið
If I remember the tale correctly, this was written whle a group of bikers cycled through the USSR.

Pretty close. It's The Snail Band. They are the official band of the Motorbike Association of the Republic aka The Snails.

Their logo should show clearly why.

That, was surprisingly good actually. Even if i still like the original better. Went to school with a big Nirvana fan, who also happened to be damned good with a guitar, so it was pretty much a guarantee, either you ended up liking a lot of their music, or you went insane. I'm reasonably sure i didn't go insane(i even have it in writing!).

Just as I hit "Reply", I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on Absolute Radio. Weird, weird world.

Peterson Farm Bros:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48H7zOQrX3U — "I'm Farming And I Grow It"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LX153eYcVrY — "Farmer Style"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSp9mGcaESc — "Takin' Care Of Livestock"
These guys rock.

Various interns at NASA Johnson:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Sar5WT76kE — "NASA Johnson Style"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgSCH6q9gY8 — "I.S.S. Baby"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwPDETH2Bn8 — "I've Been Everywhere" w/ Hank Snow.
About time to throw in a nice foot-tapper, right?

A teensy bit of folk rock, maybe?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ira3_qDqwek — "Logs To Burn" w Golden Bough.
Top advice on selecting firewood.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zzwbYyvWiU — "All Around My Hat/Farewell He" w/ Steeleye Span.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0FkSaFTV2A — Same, but with Status Quo rocking the folk.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yzo6Otpgj-E — "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" w/ Gordon Lightfoot.
A century of history in six-and-a-half minutes.

Finally, some sheer bloody Rock'n'Roll:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWBRcWDsHkk — "Whatever You Want" w/ Status Quo.
When the Proms let down their hair, this happens.

Stumbled onto a nice Romanian amateur band thanks to people posting on another forum.

"I Was Made For Loving You - KISS; By The Iron Cross"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-Tt-vXCRTw
They've done lots of covers, several very nice ones.

We really should get some Sailor Senshi into this. How about some Weird Al?

Sailor Senshi and the Villains they Love

Or perhaps a bit of Tenchi? No Need For Polka and Harvey the Wonder Hamster.

Then again, there's Utena Daioh, where they kept the anime's music and redrew the animation ... Not sure if that will take you there; I have a membership.

Neat! I always like wellmixed AMVs.
Bit surprised about the song though, had never actually heard it before despite how i thought i had heard everything Aqua at least once.
