I don't know... The people of Israel pretty much have a journal detailing their exploits in the region from thousands of years ago. You know, where they just couldn't help attacking whatever people they happened to come across on the way to the land promised to them. Which is kind of like taking a car ride and running over whichever pedestrians happen to be crossing the road. Though I'd probably be cantankerous if I had a backseat driver killing off my passengers, too.
