I couldn't share it before but !suddenly YouTube has ato-generated subtitles! (or is it a client-side feature of Windows 10 ?)
Anyway, this unholy offspring of speech recognition mated with Google Translate mutilates about one third of the speech beyond recognition.
Two thirds are somewhat recognizable, though.
In short: while investigating a highly mysterious sinking of battleship Varahiil (after Archangel Varakhael) in the hoary year 1749, they found not only it. They found much more. There is a deadly shale of doom in the northern Dvina river, if turns out, a maelstrom of sorts hosting a graveyard of over 60 shipwrecks. That battleship hit two of them causing it to capsize. The captain almost got court-martialed too...

At least it can be turned off or changed to various display languages.
But it sure heck doesn´t give a viable translation.

And even that wont see anywhere near everything. And those horrors include things that most would prefer to classify as "fictional".

Funny thing about echo-locators or sonars: The only sonars we have in Iceland are medical. Those in ships are still called asdics.
