Mind, Friederike was a pretty violent storm, and forced several airports to shut down totally for a while.

Aside: Düsseldorf Airport has only two runways, both pointing 05/23. As you could tell from the clip, there was quite a crosswind there. I'm still in shock, awe and wonder at howinell the pilot managed to get that Dash to ground.

Heh, yeah, they're shit-hot stuff.

There is a clip which I am yet to rediscover. It shows an electric mine railway where the current collector is a handheld staff.

Lol, nicely contrasting finish there.

Ouchy, yeah, that's the one that several times managed to go beyond 60 degrees from vertical, definitely NOT healthy!
Nice testament on the skill of whoever designed the ship though.

For those that like big fire trucks and firefighting clips, here is a short playlist...

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsswADqUJDzsAW1dXdAFDvXtRz6DCZnxY

... that covers a fire that happened on Chicago's O'Hare Airport in October 2016, when a compressor disk cracked in the right engine of an American Airlines Boeing 767. A piece of the disk tore out of the engine and through the wing. It was later found inside a building nearly 900m (0.9km/0.56mi) away.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Airlines_Flight_383_(2016)

It was an interesting event.

Nope... only had flights in large planes. The closest I got to that was a transfer at Washington DC airport for Atlanta, where we had to remain on the ground for about 60 to 90 minuted due to a thunderstorm landing smack dab on top of the runway...

Once that cleared we could get on to Atlanta.

Scary.

A seal (or is that a sea lion?) gorging himself on a fishing boat's catch:

The crew is mostly "GTFO, feggit" at him.
(the following fragment is a guy narrating "I was driving drunk and I don't know how I *** fit through here or why the *** I am still alive. My car is ***, all $44K *** up. Don't drink when you go fishing, bros.")

The miracle landing on a corn field you probably heard about many times. The entire flight lasting less than two minutes, from a passenger window:

Someone is going to pay for making the dump that attracted those seagulls to the airport.
The pilot, who is being awarded a Hero, saved the day by retracting the landing gear before touch-down.
P.S. There they are: https://youtu.be/9o-9LMzaLZ4?t=12
For as long as I remember Moscow is surrounded by dumps swarming with hordes of seagulls. Attempts to resolve this are made, but there is too much trash. Illegal dumps spring up like fungi and seagulls follow, feeding off of them.

Inconvenient birds

I'm so glad now we only have seagulls here. I love seagulls. They are nice and won't attack you unless they think you are carrion. They don't have huge murder talons on their feet. They don't have huge flesh-ripping beaks. Seagulls are nice! Be nice to seagulls!

Most of the clips, just OUCH...

And damn, so many morons.

Some of the clips though, frickin hilarious. The sea lion, and in the same vid, the guys with the rubber boat where the bottom broke or something, lol... One of the guys literally walks out of the water with the boat carried around him.
The 2nd sea lion sleeping on the boat, hah...

Lol, ducks learning to wait for green light... Not surprising that it happened(bound to happen eventually), but funny.
