Train anime. As a scientist and engineer, I find
Snowpiercer detestable. Why, in all reason, is there a gigantic train carrying the remnants of humanity around the frozen wasteland of the globe? The constant motion of the train is supposed to
provide energy, and keep people from freezing? (Snort here from Minnesotan who lives where there is little but a barbed-wire fence between myself and the wind from the North in Winter!) They have scarce resources to feed them, but they've been traveling for seven years, with the social unrest getting worse and worse? With all that apocalypse, how are they sure the rails are in good condition? Where do they get the energy to run the train? (Atomic energy would work, but they could use it for better things than motion.)
There are so many damn impossibilities in just the synopsis of the show that even the Great and Powerful Oz (or the Great and Powerful Trixie if you fan in that direction) could keep this vicious clown-show running. Mind you, I've seen not a second of the show. I ran screaming when I heard the premise.
Good grief! Why did you get me so worked up just before bedtime? Still, a good rant makes me feel alive ....
