Two Jeeves?

I just noticed that there are two Jeeves among the Phoenix people. Which wouldn't be strange in and of itself, except one was in an egg and imprinted on Ryoga in one place, while -- at the same time -- the other was with Saffron as Ranma was fighting Kima nearby.

Which begs the question: what's up with that? Is that the actual English equivalent of their names, or was there a translation error? Is some kind of Ayanami Rei thing going on? Or was this a vague -- and ultimately pointless -- hint of intrigue? Or is this merely a coincidence, despite how easily avoidable it was to choose the same name?

This is really curious.

You haven´t seen the TV series Jeeves&Wooster? Or read the books?
(check out he tv series if you haven´t, it´s fun)

Jeeves is an exceptional valet/butler/servant.

The name is commonly used as slang for a high class servant.

Exactly how it works out in that scene? Who knows... Mysteries of author fiat.

Having a bunch of as-of-yet imprinted upon -- and thus potentially obedient -- people (servants?) just waiting around in bulk? Yeah... Mysterious. ^^;
