Temple of Ranma's Sailor Senshi Seifuku

The instances where I can recall her wardrobe being viewable (such as when Ranma borrows her clothes that first time, or when Happosai was stealing Akane's underwear shortly after his arrival), instead of having doors, her wardrobe appears to be sealed/closed by a flexible sheet of some kind. That would be fine, since that could easily be explainable, but what I don't get is this: I don't ever recall more than one corner of the sheet being moved aside, whether the wardrobe was in use or not. It seems rather inconvenient to access the wardrobe's contents from one of the top corners. I just don't get it. ;/
