Prepare For Descent

Someone's got a comeback planned for the Descent series. Check out this video and see for yourself.

From the looks of things, it's going to have a heavy focus on multiplayer. Not so much my thing, but I can see this being a major draw for those that played the older games against each other.

No sign of the Pyro-GX, sadly. :(

I remember playing Descent in DOS, and Descent 2 in windows 95. In fact I think I might still haver the CD Rom of the first game somewhere. Anyone here remembers the Magic Carpet videogame?

That's right... I almost forgot about that port. Had actual intro and ending cinematics, if I recall correctly...

My first purchased copy of Descent was kinda weird. There were supposed to be 22 songs for the levels, and it only had 7 of them. :? Later I purchased the Definitive Collection, which fixed that particular problem. I was still running Windows 3.1 at the time, so I had to settle for running the 2nd game from DOS (not that I minded ^_^ ).

Can't say that I've tried it. What was the Magic Carpet game like?
