Temple of Ranma's Sailor Senshi Seifuku

Replaying the game. Does the cave of wonders reopen or will I need to restart the game to get those dalmations and trinities?

As far as I remember, you should be able to go back there later. There is stuff you can potentially miss forever in Halloween Town, though, so be careful about that!

a flash of inspiration figured it out for me. The gate in world looks like its gone forever but you can get back in via gummy ship.
