Normal Mode across the board, except for PoFV (once I beat all the characters on Easy, I had to remove the game from my laptop to conserve disk space) and the PC-98 games (except Lotus Land Story). Any mistakes I make in those games I've already beaten are usually due to the Puma Man effect.

Our problems are probably different, then. For instance, Marisa's not my preferred pick, though I do try everyone and what options they have for shots. It's partly because I really need to find a better controller, as the D-pad for the one that I have isn't exactly ideal for nuanced instructions.

Started playing in... late March, I think. Without looking at the game, I think I've cleared around... 30-33 scenes by now, and I had to redo a few of them to get Aya's commentary.

The Level 6 (Chen, Youmu) and 7 (Sakuya, Remilia) cards have finally managed to stonewall me, so I'll be taking a break at this point. I also still need to clear a few of Meiling's (Level 5) and one each of Keine's and Alice's (Level 3).

Farther than I got. I got stuck on scene three of level two, though I also kept going back to scene four of level one to get a good reaction from Aya instead of that swirly sign by her head. However, even though that scene has my highest score (sixty-three-thousand), I hadn't been able to nab a picture that satisfies her. ;/

I wouldn't mind getting back to this game, but all I have is my PS3 controller and it doesn't work well with press-and-hold requirements (because even if I mash the button down, it might decide that that's not what I'm doing at all and disrupt the charge, or set off the result of the charge when I don't want it to).

Cirno has a knack for that. I lost track of how many times I tried 2-1 only to find out that my efforts weren't good enough.

Give me a few days, and I'll see if I can make a decent replay of 1-4 for ya.

I prefer to graze on bologna sandwiches, personally. Must be something wrong with me.

But anyway, how'd you manage to get 63K worth of points on scene 1-4? Even at my best, the closest I can manage is 55K.

Probably because I kept trying to get a photo that Aya would appreciate. I have fifty-eight photos taken for that scene, and my highest scoring one is twenty-seven thousand. I don't recall if that one photo is among the four that gave me my best score, but I imagine I got enough practice in to figure out when to get some decent shots. Just not the kind that would improve Aya's expression and all that. ;/

I can't remember whether 1-4 is one of those scenes where you can get the commentary but she still looks displeased. There should be a few of those scattered throughout the game.

On non-StB matters, I took another step nearer to the edge by 1 CCing Imperishable Night on Hard Mode. This was done solely to unlock another of the Last Words, so chances are I won't be attempting that again.

And lo and behold, I finally have replay(s)!

1-4. Not sure how good it is compared to your efforts at it, but eh.

3-7, the most recent of the Level 3 scenes I was able to clear. Took 95 shots before I finally cleared it, and it was a pain.

7-1. Something to look forward to, should you ever have the chance to revisit the game. NOT. This one took me 187 shots, if only because it required 9 pictures to be taken.
