Yeah, happily. To make a long story short, I had to get a medicine refill at the local Wal-Mart, and McDonald's was just a few properties away.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, reportedly, a different (pre-gen 6) legendary will be available to download each month, for all of the gen 6 games (though some will be serial code card events at GameStop, and I'm not looking forward to having to try to get multiple cards for each event...)

As it's now February 1, the Mew distribution is now active.

I'm wondering if the cards may be harder to get this time around, though, given how Mew's still one of the more in-demand legendaries (as far as I know).

I'm not going to worry too much about getting the Legendaries this time. If I can, great; if not, it's no big deal. If they're "fateful encounter" Pokemon, then it's not like I'm going to be able to use them for trade fodder anyhoo.

Aren't most (if not all) of the Mystery Gift Pokemon now rigged to prevent trading over the GTS or Wonder Trade, though?

I'd imagine the legendaries certainly would be.

I think so. That's what I was referring to.

If you have multiple cartridges you can still use Pokemon Bank as a middleman, I think, but other than that...

Apparently Magiana is a man-made Pokemon that was created 500 years ago.

I'm curious as to how that happened.
