GenderSwap Fanfics

I'm looking for gender swap fanfics where the protagonist remembers there original gender. NOT stories where the protagonist is the same gender the entire time even if it is different then Canon.

Any specific fandoms preferred? Ranma ½ is based on this. There are many “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” fics like this, usually set at and after a certain Halloween night.

There is also a Harry Potter story that uses “The Virus” as a starting point: “Wandless Magic” by Cloud-Dreamer — incomplete at six chapters.

Mouldyfart turned Harry female in one fic while breaking the link between them. Somewhere else Harry found a stash a Nyannichuan in Hogwarts…

I also recall a story where Xander turns female to carry a child to term rather than let Faith abort. Also at least one where Xander turns female so there is still a Slayer in Sunnydale after Buffy splits.

Not yet, but I think both are on my computer somewhere. I will have to make a deep search for the latter as I haven’t read it in a very long time.

Other series you might be interested in are Futaba-kun Change! and X-Change.

You can find other series by checking out the TVTropes page, but I can't think of any with permanent gender changes off-hand. Unless you count the Starlights on Sailor Moon.

Not yet. Can’t even remember if it was a full fic or an omake.

For the record, the Xander-saves-an-unborn fic is MistressAshley’s “All For The Life Of A Child.” It is a multicrossover.

Yep thats right, the site kept going down for weeks end then showed up for a day before going down again. I moved it to http://www.rankofics.t15.org with http://rankofics.comxa.com as a backup. The site is pretty much abandoned now, not enough interest in Ranma left and I've moved on to other fandoms.
