I think I finally figured it out Dragon Slayer Magic is taught similarly to how Happosai taught Hinako Ninomiya the Happōgoensatsu. The trainee is taught the physical form of the technique while the master changes their body’s so that they can utilize it. Happosai did this through pressure points but Dragons most likely use alchemy.

Dragon Slayer Magic (滅竜魔法 Metsuryū Mahō) is a form of Lost Magic used by Dragon Slayers.

Dragon Slayer Magic motto
"Control yourself, let others do what they will.
This does not mean you are weak.
Control your heart, obey the principles of life.
This does not mean others are stronger."
Four rules of Dragon Slayer Magic
Focus to train and condition the body.
Be righteous and uphold your honor.
Respect your parents, honor your teacher.
Treat others with honesty, treat your friends with loyalty.

Learning
Physical Methods and Philosophy

The movements of Dragon Slayer Magic are based on the mythical Dragon. The Dragon style is an imitative-style that was developed based on the imagined characteristics of the mythical Dragon.

It is essentially an internal, qi (pronounced chi) cultivating method, but initial training is far more like a hard, external style. In learning the moves, the student will strike hard, block hard and stomp into each position, with the idea of learning the proper place to be once each movement is complete. Eventually, the method of transmitting power is retained, and the physically strengthened body is able to make transitions in the proper, fluid manner. In turn, this dragon-like smoothness helps disguise the attack, making it extremely difficult for an adversary to effectively counter.

Once a purely physical semblance to flow has been mastered, the disciple incorporates the deep hissing sounds to train chi flow. Inhaling is silent, but exhalation is deliberate, tense and controlled. Inhaling lightens the body for aerial maneuvers, while exhaling drives power into each technique. Blocking is dispensed with, and parries or simple strikes substituted. At this point, novice and advanced student show very little in common.

On the highest level, an opponent is allowed to tire himself out, evasion becoming the Dragon Slayer’s key defense. Qi control is highly developed, and the degree to which the body must be moved to redirect or avoid impact is under greater control.
The forms that constitute this system are divided by complexity into three categories, and are enumerated below:

Basic
16 Movements/Holes
Passing Bridge Three Times
Fierce Tiger Leaping Over Wall
Rescue Master From Single Side
Single Sword and Mount
Press and Hit from Four Sides
Eagle Claw
Bridge Smashing

Intermediate
Touch Bridge (introduces sticking hands)
Venomous Snake Moves Tongue
Hua King's Fist
Standing Five-Form
Cross Standing Five-Form
Turn to Hook and Hit
Five Horses Returning to Stable

Advanced
Plum Flower Punch
Seven Ways of Plum Flower Punch

In each form, one is taught to "ride the wind", a phrase which in large part means follow rather than lead. Provide no opening without first letting your opponent open. The Dragon evades primarily by rotation of upper or lower torso with little or no stance movements. The style employ’s pinpoint strikes to vulnerable meridian targets, but also heavily uses tiger-like punches and clawing techniques, snake-like stance shifts, and leopard-like hit and run strikes to weaken a physically superior adversary. It also regularly employs low sweeping techniques, but these are not unique; most senior stylists of any martial arts system use these on a weakened adversary.

Techniques
Overview
Dragon Slayers relies on a variety of fighting techniques that can be employed for a wide range of needs. The style uses techniques that can cripple or kill an opponent if the need arises or it can be used simply to control a minor street fighting situation.

Dragon form focuses mainly on powerful, short range attacks. However, the styles' use of gripping and seizing techniques as well as the extensive use of the forearms both offensively and defensively are fairly unique to the art. The style was created as an aggressive combat art and operates under the basic assumption that you are trying to either disable your opponent to the point that they are no longer a threat in battle, or kill them, though these are not by any means the only options a Dragon Slayer has. As such they employ a large number of techniques to damage the opponent's joints either through joint manipulation or direct striking; nullify the opponent's defenses either through breaking their stance or compromising their guard, and thus their ability to defend; and others. It has limited kicks and jumps and consisted mainly of fist, palm and clawing techniques. Power generated from the waist using soft hard jin (see neijin and waijin).
Dragon Slayer training also involves an extensive amount of iron body training.

Hardening the forearms especially is considered essential to the style as it makes such extensive use of them. Depending on the particular school any of a fairly large pool of traditional training methods will be used to toughen the body. Three, five and seven star conditioning drills, pea buckets, weighted ropes, sand bags, and striking poles are all common in Dragon Slayer schools. It really isn't possible to separate Dragon Slayer Magic conditioning from its methods, the two work hand in hand, each needing the other to be completely effective.

Basic
The Dragon Slayer typically attacks with powerful and quick movements. For example, when striking with the fist, more power can be exerted when the movement originates from the feet, is guided by the waist, flows through the body, and exits through the fist.

Foot work
Dragon Slayer leg work is characterized by a motion that mimics the movement of the mythical dragon that trained them. This also allows one to use floating and sinking movements which are very important in generating power and stability, making your body calm and relaxed.

Though the Dragon Slayer footwork pool is deep, it generally centers around two basic types of stepping. The first is "Zig Zag" stepping (dragon stepping). Basically with each step forward, the rear foot moves forward and becomes the forward foot. However, the step is not taken directly forward but basically follows the angle the front foot is turned at (about 33 degrees). This has the effect of moving the LY player forward and off to an angle while offering some protection to the groin from attack. This type of stepping allows a Dragon Slayer to press his opponent (usually used before the opponent's center has been taken) while launching attacks from angles that are difficult for the opponent to defend. The LY player seems to be constantly moving into an uncomfortable range and at an angle that forces their opponent to reposition their whole body to defend against, or else torque their torso around thus breaking their structure and disconnecting them from the power generation machinery of their lower body.

The second basic type of stepping is press stepping. In this method the front foot moves forward and the rear foot drags up to get back to the basic position. This stepping generally covers less distance than the dragon stepping, and is used to press the opponent. It will frequently be used once the LY player has begun to press their attack in earnest or is exploiting some advantage. There are specific methods for stretching this footwork out addressed in various forms. One of the primary purposes of this footwork is to keep the LY player "on top of" their opponent and in attacking range. Also, this type of stepping is heavily used in various stance breaking methods.

Magical
Thaumaturgy
As the Dragon Slayer learns the physical art of Dragon Slayer Magic they also are required to go through various methods of alchemical therapy. The therapy itself comes in to parts:

The first par transforms the body itself into a conduit which focuses and dictates the flow of power, as the Dragon transmits it chi through the pathways of the Slayers body.
The second part allows the energy that is focused within the body to be released. The Dragon’s energy pattern permeates the Slayer’s entire body inserting it into their DNA triggering a profound and significant change in the genetic expression of their entire body. This transforms the way the Slayer’s body systems work, including their glands, nerves, and muscles. Their internal makeups have incorporated increased senses, versatile physical structures and abilities identical to the Dragon with which they have been spliced, granting them superhuman traits while maintaining an inconspicuous shape.

History
This form of Magic was born over four hundred years ago during the Dragons Civil War. Back then Dragons were the kings of the world, freely soaring through the skies, dominating the lands, crossing the skies. They led quite the prosperous lives. Everything in the world belonged to the Dragons. Humans were but fodder for them nothing more. However a Dragon appeared and protested against their rule. He spouted things like creating a world where dragons live in harmony with the humans. A civil war broke out between those that supported and those that opposed him. They were stuck in a stalemate. The battles between the dragons had already scarred and ripped apart several lands. That was when the pro-human side put their foolish plan into action. They gave the humans magic to slay dragons and had them enter the war. The power of the Dragon Slayers made a significant change. The victory of the pro-human side would have been inevitable. If it wasn’t for one small miscalculation. They had given the dragon slayers too much power, and those who wished for peace with the human were also slain by their hands. Amongst them there was a man who bathed in the blood of dragons. The mere mention of his name is terror itself. That man slayed many dragons and continued to bathe in their blood. Until the man’s skin itself became scales, his teeth became fangs his form itself had become that of a dragon.

Dragon Slayer
Dragon Slayers are a unique type of people who utilize a form of Lost Magic, Dragon Slayer Magic.

Abilities
Dragon Slayer Magic is a branch of Magic which allows its users to transform the physiology of their body into those of a dragon, has limitless functions, and is valued as a priceless resource for everyday uses.[11] Each Dragon Slayer has their own form of Magic, just like each Dragon is a master of their own element.[1] The process that created them causes a Mergence with the power lines, or a streamlining of the ability to conduct vast elemental forces along the psychic channels of mind and body without frying out the host like a badly worn circuit. This takes a total diminishment of resistance to achieve a psychic conductivity so that the energy is not wasted or dissipated as heat (BAM!) and the living force behind the energy can mold itself in concert with the will of the Dragon Slayer. As a result of this, those with Dragon Slayer abilities are able to change their body to their own element in both offensive and defensive styles.[1]

In addition the Slayer is able consume and metabolize external sources of their natural element. Doing fortifies the structure of the original spell that created the Slayer rejuvenating them and enhancing their abilities.[2] It is like a bow. To gathering strength or energy requires the spell to be able to bend. Of course, the farther you can bend the bow the more power you have, but you can only bend the bow if you have the strength to bend it. Dragon Slayer Magic is the arrow. An arrow without a bow is useless, likewise, a bow without an arrow is equally as useless. The consumption of external elemental sources is important to Slayer’s as it can improve the clarity of their magic, making it easier to gather energy, a requirement since ki builds on itself every time it is used. They are also naturally immune to the effects of their own element that came from both their own person and to those from other sources, but must consume it through their mouths if they are to actually absorb it into their bodies.[2]

Dragon force
Dragon Force (ドラゴンフォース Doragon Fōsu) is an advanced ability of Dragon Slayers.

Description
Dragon Force activates when a Dragon Slayer starts to turn his/her own body into a humanoid dragon, gaining reptile-like scales and traits, such as further elongated and sharp canines for Old-Style Dragon Slayers,[1] and scaly arms, sometimes complete with claws,[2] for New-Style Dragon Slayers.[3] Dragon Force is the most powerful and final state a Dragon Slayer can attain this granting power comparable to that of a real dragon, and the ability to destroy everything.[4]

Abilities
Dragon Force greatly increases the damage done by standard Dragon Slayer spells, and grants the user access to more advanced, powerful attacks.[5] It also drastically enhances the user's physical powers, making them far stronger, more resistant and faster,[6] and boosts their Magic power, prompting it to violently become visible, taking on the shape of a dragon;[7] when used at the fullest, the generated silhouette seems to gain corporeality, likely as a result of the immense amount of Magic power employed.[8]

Achieving
For First Generation Dragon Slayers, those who have been taught their Magic by a real dragon, certain conditions must be met in order to achieve Dragon Force state: the only one known so far would be to eat substances with powerful Magical properties,[10] preferably those somehow related to the element they can control and consume; this fortifies the original spell to such an extent the Slayer is capable of transforming from full human form to that of a man-Dragon hybrid. While other, unrelated substances can be eaten as well, these have been described as being similar to "poison" for the user, causing heavy after effects, such as pain on activation [11] and extreme exhaustion after use.[12] This is because while the Slayer is still able to conduct forces substance since it is unrelated to the element they have been trained to handle they are to achieve a psychic conductivity thus their body ends up frying out. It is known that killing a dragon and bathing in its blood also fortifies the original spell similar to consuming the element only permanently. If enough dragons are killed then Dragon Force will eventually become the natural physiology of the Slayer. If even more are killed the Slayer can fully transform themselves into a dragon.

Styles
There are three generations of Dragon Slayers. There is the First Generation, who learn their abilities from Dragons, the Second Generation, who have Lacrima crystals implanted into themselves, and the Third Generation which is merely a combination of both previous ones.[6]

First Generation
The original Dragon Slayers of the First Generation are taught their abilities by an actual Dragon. In most cases, the particular Dragon Slayer’s teacher was also their foster parent.[12][13][14]

Given that that First Generation Dragon Slayer Magic corresponds to the abilities of the Dragon who teaches it comes with a great deal of versitility. When taught by an Elemental such as Undines (water), Sylphs (wind), Salamanders (fire), Gnomes (earth), or Tenebraes (shadow) the magic draws its power from the basic elements that make up the world itself, the forces of nature.

It should be noted that Sky Dragon Slayer Magic taught by Sylphs incorporates various aspects of White magic in that it is made up of spells that heal, protect and exorcise evil spirits. So it contains very few truly offensive spells, and even those are effective only against unnatural beings such as undead.

There are also more conventional Dragon Slayer Magic like White Dragon Slayer Magic taught by golden dragons which share similar to properties to Holy magic.

Second Generation
Those from this generation of Dragon Slayers are ones who have had Dragon Lacrima implanted into their bodies possibly surgically, this changes in the genetic expression of their entire body, similar to the process that creates the First Generation Dragon Slayer Magic. [15] Due to the fact that they are not taught their abilities by a Dragon, they are considered artificial Dragon Slayers.[16]

Dragon Lacrima only contains the essence the dragon not the abilities that come with it. So a Lacrima crystal that has been powered with the essence Salamander will grant the Slayer the increased senses, versatile physical structures and abilities of a Dragon, but not the ability to utilize Fire.

It is for this reason that a second element is incorporated into the Lacrima in addition to Dragon essence before being implanted. This grants Second Generation Dragon Slayer’s far more versatility then the First as it allows them to incorporate elements not usually associated with Dragons. For example in Poison Dragon Slayer Magic the Slayer is capable of freely producing and manipulating poison, manifested in the form of a toxic gas. Such gas seems to be somehow “tangible”, and can thus be used as an effective blunt weapon, inflicting physical damage to foes while at the same time infecting them with poison. This is because the poison is merely a catalyst to evoke certain spells and magic related to it. This allows wide range of effects from causing sleep, to burning internal organs, to causing a person to revert to a more primal state, etc...

In addition since Second Generation Dragon Slayer Magic doesn’t require learning set forms it can easily be incorporated into the Slayers personal fighting style. Finally Second Generation Dragon Slayer’s are capable of activating Dragon Force more easily on their own free will as they are able to use their own power to fortify the spell within the Dragon Lacrima.[17][18]
Third Generation
Dragon Slayers of this type are both taught their Magic by a Dragon and have bodies implanted with Dragon Lacrima which fortifies the original spell.[19] As with the previous generation, it appears that they can activate Dragon Force more freely.[20]

Weakness
It seems that, for some reason, all Dragon Slayers of an advanced "level" share a weakness in motion sickness.[7] At lower "levels" this isn't such a problem, however after three months of intense training; he became vulnerable to motion-sickness. [9][10]

One theory is that the physical and magical training required to gain psychic conductivity requires the Slayer to be grounded after a certain level of power is achieved. While this in no way affects the Slayers ability in aerial combat when the body is constant motion, for instants when the ground is moving under them resistence to such vast elemental forces is increased. This weakness is not present in the Second Generation for obvious reasons.
