(yeah, really old joke, but still...)

GT itself is pretty much completely ignored by Akira Toriyama himself, who honestly had nothing to do with that series at all. It was pretty much the popularity that caused the companies to create the show.

Even in the MMO Dragon Ball Online -- which involved Toriyama working with the creators of the game, -- GT is completely and utterly excluded as being non-canon to the Dragon Ball franchise.

They explain to him why they fell for Beryl's manipulations. How they thought Mamoru was forsaking them, the Earth and its people all for the sake of the Moon Princess, how they felt he was choosing her over them and being selfish. How they stood beside him all his years of life and then he chooses the Moon over his own Kingdom!

We need more SHITTENOU/MAMORU BONDING!

Sorry, fangirl moment here...

What I want to see is a better representation of the evil Sailor Senshi from Sailor Stars. I want to see that story arc done better than the anime did, and I want to see all the other kinds of Senshi that the manga showed. I'd also like to see Chibi-usa actually be 900-years-old just like in the manga and less whiny than the anime counterpart was.

If anything, I just want the new series to be closer to the manga, but still having various other elements in the anime.

I want less, "every sperm is sacred," and more, "yo' down in the jungle, baby! Ye gonna die!" XD

Probably depends on what it's up against. How's the latest Pretty Cure stuff looking like? XD

Oh, speaking of that, how freakishly over the top do you think the transformations are going to be?

As long as there are SOME kind of transformation in most series, there will always be useless filler showing the transformation in detail nearly every single time, even though they honestly CAN transform in the blink of an eye.

That's what I always found funny with Space Sheriff Gavan. He transforms in the blink of an eye and afterwards a narrator always explains that Gavan only needs 0.05 seconds to transform and afterwards they show the transformation in slow motion.

Even if it does get dubbed here in the US, I honestly envision them using the Japanese names, because dubbing and such things have evolved over the years.

Really? Then what about Pokémon or Detective Conan?

That may be due to the targeted demographic being young children, at least in Pokemon's case (I don't have enough experience with Detective Conan to know whether it is or not). In all likelihood Sailor Moon will be marketed to teens in the US.

Noy Telinú wrote:Which, is freaking hilarious since it's marketed towards preteen girls in Japan.

With this new series, it's going to be aimed at the older fans. So, not preteen girls this time. But I'm wondering if they will aim it at those same preteens that have now grown up... or just the guy demographic that came along for the ride? If the later, I fear many more panty shots then necessary.
