Ranma Action figure

Postby J. St.C. Patrick » Wed Jul 13, 2016 3:52 am

As noted in the Combining Uniforms thread, I recently purchased a Bandai SHFiguarts Ranma-chan Action Figure.

(link to the Combining Uniforms thread post: viewtopic.php?f=58&t=6993&start=180#p449359 )

As these pictures aren't crossovers ( save for apparently being taken in Phineas & Ferb's back yard) I'm posting these images here.

Here she is brand new and still in the box:

And here the box is removed and shows her and all the accessories she comes with:

Although she does come with a stand, in these pictures she is standing on her own and stood without falling over:

This pose took a while for me to get her to balance long enough for me to get the picture and even then she stood only for a few seconds before falling over:

Here she is riffing on a guitar from a Revoltech Haruhi figure set

And here she is eyeing a frog - Kuno or Akane under a magic spell? :

Kuno, after attempting to ruin Ranma and Ellistraee's wedding-
There was a shout from the back of the grove. "NO! I SHALL NOT ALLOW THIS TRAVESTY TO HAPPEN! THE FOUL SORCEROR SAOTOME SHALL NOT BRING THIS DEFENSELESS WOMAN INTO HIS FOUL PERVERSIONS!" Three guesses, and the first two don't count, of course. Some wedding guests were wondering how this particular lunatic got through the divine, elven, and human soldiers keeping the peace for this wedding. There were also the signs out front that warned about unauthorized persons will be polymorphed without chance for save.

Amaterasu stood and looked at the newly wedded couple. "I'll handle this, as this individual has invoked me for the wrong reasons for the last time. Consider it a wedding gift." The head of the Japanese pantheon strode down the aisle with a purpose, her katana out.

Both Elminster and Fizban looked at each other, nodded, stood, and joined the Japanese goddess. Eldritch fury could be felt to all present as the goddess, god, and immortal (if occasionally immoral) mage worked their magics on the intruder. Suffice to say, one scion of the Kuno clan will rue the day he disrupted a wedding.

Although Azusa Shiratori eventually did find Kappa-Kuno, declaring him "cute" and name him "Jacques" on the spot. Perhaps that right there is a fate worse than death.
Oh are you from Wales ?? Do you know a fella named Jonah ?? He used to live in whales for a while.

She had best be careful. If she accidentally kisses the frog, he might turn into a prince -- or even worse, a samurai.

Ha! :-)

There's always the Disney "Princess and the Frog" option:

Thanks for the comments Té Rowan & Spica75

I'll be posting another animation soon.

In the meantime here is a less lively action picture:

Ranma found a magic wand and broom:

Thanks for the comment Spica75 - it is very fitting for Ranma ( but difficult to animate)

Here is Ranma flying on a broom in a more traditional manner. - And as promised it is animated:

And now I suddenly have flashbacks to Miriani’s story “Hikari no Daija”.

Thanks for the comment, Té Rowan. Sorry for the long delay in responding. I enjoyed "Hikari no Daija", it's too bad it hasn't been updated since 2008.

Now for something new in the way of a magical transformation:
