Idea inspired by the Vocaloid 1/2 tread by talonhunter
Ranma wants to do something nice to Akane, but as usual has no money, and since is been almost two years since he moved in with the Tendos, he knows that if they caught him being nice to Akane it would mean trouble. He thinks in singing her a song, but his voice as male is not good. He tries to sing it as a girl, and after hearing the recording notices his female voice is actually quite nice. Problem is, if his mother hears the recording, she would think thats unmanly.
Ranma goes to Nabiki for advice, and after promising to do some favors for her, Nabiki shows Ranma the Program Vocaloid and teach him how to use it. Ranma redoes the song using Vocaloid and plans to leave the recording in Akane locker in an anonymous way using the Umiseken. Then the next day, at school, Kuno, Gosunkugi and Shampoo try to use magic in Ranma, and the spells ends mixed up. Kuno spell is supposed to "Free the pigtailed girl from the evil sorcerer" , Gosunkugi spell is supposed to "Send Ranma far away" and Shampoo spell is suposed to "make Ranma make him love her" (But is in fact a spell to find true love). The spells all hit Ranma while he is holding the Cd with the recording and Ranma vanishes while the Cd explodes.
The next day Ranma wakes up and find himself in a slighty different female body, Turns out Ranma ended in in a similar world where the girls of Vocaloid are real singers, and Vocaloid is actually a group that keeps switching singers, like Morning Musume. And it seems this different Ranma been using his Jusenko curse to have a double life as a singer/martial artist. Thing is, Nabiki is his manager in this new reality. Ranma is angry about the whole situation and finds that she is holding the stupid CD that caused all the trouble in her hand, enraged she trows the CD to the ground and destroys it. The leftover magic not only replaces Nabiki with the one from the reality Ranma is originally from, but also places the curse to turn into an idol singer in Nabiki too, Now being forced against her will to play the role of an idol singer, and since Nabiki lacks a Jusenko curse, her change is permanent, she agrees to help Ranma to find a cure.
But, is the life of an Idol really that bad? And what will happen if anyone ever finds out?
