Millennial Panic status

It appears that Millennial Panic, like all other posts I made on this board before the crash, was wiped from the board. Most of the comments on the chapters are still there, but all my posts, including the original posts and all my responses to the comments, were removed from the topics.

I do have all of my work backed up on a flashdrive, it would not take me long to repost all of the chapters here. But at this point, I'm trying to decide if I should. I never received a whole lot of response to millennial panic. Frice2000 was greatly helpful in tracking down stray typoes and correcting some grammar, but at the end I didn't receive any real feedback on the story itself. Whether this is because nobody had anything to criticise about the plot, or because I like to debate too much and spent too much time debating with people about plot points during the first chapters and so nobody wanted to say anything about it in later chapters, it doesn't matter. I see other authors getting a lot of feedback, and I only get a very precious few people responding to my posts. I'm grateful for what I get, but it's not enough for me to justify posting here on an open forum when I can get beta readers to do the same thing without ruining the story for those that read it first here instead of waiting for the release on fanfiction.net. So instead of betaing my stories here, they'll be posted here at the same time as on fanfiction.net after they've already been worked over by my beta reader.

I'm currently waiting for my newest chapter to come back from my beta reader. If you're interested in being a beta for the story, contact me, but keep in mind that I'm only open to having a few beta readers. Also keep in mind that I have a timetable on releases that I want to keep, and if a beta reader can't keep up (and it's really a long timetable, so there's no excuse), I'll be dropping that beta reader.

Sorry that posting my stories here first didn't work out. Maybe I'll try again when I finish or shelf Millennial panic and start writing something new.
