I think only the second, third and fifth games in the series made it to the states. Does anyone like them? Me, I like the battle system and the artwork; the plots are otherwise forgettable. Oh, and there are faeries! :D

I've only played the second and third game. I've held off on getting the fifth because the battle system looked a bit different in an unappealing way. But I can't tell for sure, so I've been focusing on buying reference material for fan-fiction purposes.

I never finished Generations of War, but the first two were good. I wish they had done more with the Spirit Master thing in the third game though. I know that it's key to the plot, but actually doing things related to being a Spirit Master is relegated to two sidequests. With thousands of souls unable to cross over because of Zion, you'd think Slayn would be spending more time helping them directly.
