So...I've been listening to some RPG battle music recently. Don't know why. Thought it might be fun to link to your absolute favorites in a thread just to see the differing opinions.

All time Favorite:
Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Final Boss

First Place:
Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete: Boss Fight

Second Place:
Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete: Hiro's Fight tied with Zelda a Link to the Past: Battle with Ganon

Third Place:
Diablo 1: Caves and Diablo 2: Wilderness

Fourth Place:
Grandia 2 Fight! Version 2

Fifth Place:
Lunar Silver Star Story Complete: Regular Fight and Lunar Silver Star Story Complete Boss Fight

While songs from Final Fantasy shouldn't be unexpected, there are two from the series that I insist are too awesome to ignore. The first is from Mystic Quest, when you fight the Dark King. It just rocks. The other is the fight with Zeromus in Final Fantasy 4, which I think is the definitive song when it comes to capturing the feeling of a life or death struggle.

There's the standard battle song in Romancing Saga: Minstrel's Song, which I never tire of. But, really, whoever composed the battle songs for that game did an awesome job, as illustrated further here, here, here, here, here, here, here and, finally... here.

Ah, there was the fight against the mana beast/dragon in Secret of Mana.

There's this song from Atelier Iris 3.

From Mana Khemia: this song, this song, and this song.

Disgaea 2: awesome incarnate.

...And I should probably stop there or I'll be at this forever. XD;;

The other problem from the goodnight gift thread is most the links got dropped by the tube and I haven't had time to go find the new ones yet...(Kinda hard to download and drive...p^_^q...)

I have a good battle music for an RPG
One of course is the infamous Dancing Mad from FFVI
But there is one that most people look over Boss Battle 3 from Legend of Dragoon.
