Who else is waiting for this addition to the series?

It seems this title finally has some additions and improvements that could have been added two games ago. Now I can only hope that the main story is actually of suitable length this time, since the second (especially) and the third game were rather short, in my opinion.

The second one wasn't that bad, but the Third was kind of hard for me to really get into.

New features? Dunno. Most of the changes are improvements on pre-existing things. Such as more animated and dynamic sprites, both in battle and during dialogue. The camera is actually being utilized to better effect during attacks more often than not, and adds more energy to the look and feel of them. Stuff like that.

I'm chomping at the bit for this one. I eat up all of Nippon Ichi's stuff going all the way back to Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure. Though personally I don't share the complaints others had about the graphics in D3, I have to admit the new look is beautiful.

I wish we got the sequals to Rhapsody released here.

I also feel sorry for Laharl, he deserves a new game.

Oh, good. I'm not the only one who hails from Rhapsody. XD

I felt that the graphics in the third game were a half-hearted attempt to get to where the fourth game is. It got a bit more detail, but not a lot of "life."

Hey, I hail from Rhapsody too. I have both the DS and PS versions.

Sadly I've never been able to get my levels high enough to get the Witch to join my party in and of the Disgaea games.

I don't think I've ever had trouble with Marjoly. I've only ever had trouble with Baal, because it took me a bit to figure out just how strong I'd have to be in order to defeat him.

I had more trouble against one of her lackeys, Myao, in Phantom Brave. Because I wanted to steal her cute wand... <_<

Her lackies are in Phantom Brave? I didn't know that.

In most NI games I haven't gotten past level 200 or so, and the extra characters are in there thousands, right?

I just remember Myao being in Phantom Brave; I don't remember if the others were or not.

At least a thousand, usually. (I think Laharl and Flonne were less than that in the second game.) I think Marjoly's level in the first game was 2500. As far as acquiring extra characters are concerned, I think she's usually one of the higher-level ones. I don't think either Prier, Laharl, Etna or Flonne have ever matched her level, but I could be wrong.
