Beats me. It's not like I'm over-levelled or anything. My party was a Serperior, Victini, Zekrom, a Golurk (the only one who's hit 55), Cobalion, and a Stoutland, if that gives you any ideas...

Hmm. Of the bunch, Zekrom and Coballion are the only ones I can picture having a chance against it, and even then it's not necessarily a given. I know that if Hydreigon hadn't missed its first shot against my own Cobal, it would've stomped the rest of my team, no questions asked; it had already stomped my Zekrom (Fuzor) with rather rude efficiency, from what I recall.

It might have been one of those two that fought it... I don't really remember how the battle went. I'm pretty sure it KO'd someone, but also went down in about 3 hits. It just didn't feel anywhere near as "impossibly powerful" as I've been hearing.

I still haven't gone after the Elite 4. Mostly I've just been spending time in the Dreamworld.

I've started playing FireRed again. I used GameShark to get a Level 2 Mew, the Mew is now at Level 15 and I've got 2 Badges and it still won't obey me. It didn't even obey me when it was Level 2. Any reason why the Mew isn't obeying my character? It is so freakin' annoying. It won't even attack. It just loafs around or pretends not to notice so I put it in the PC Box. The next thing I will do is release it. Why the heck won't it obey me? It is so freakin' annoying.

See if the info in this video is of any help. Keep in mind, though, that I have neither a Gameshark nor a 3rd-Generation Mew, so I can't vouch for the authenticity of this method. Also, the video was made with the aid of an emulator, so I don't know if having the actual cartridge makes a difference or not.

A few months ago, I said something like this:

Battle #2: I went up against an all-ghost team, which I fared only marginally better against. The third guy on his team was a Shedinja, and it was---I kid you not---invincible against direct damage, not just against those types that Wonder Guard would stop. How, you ask? It had a Focus Sash equipped, which prevents one-hit KOs from full health and leaves the 'Mon with 1 HP remaining... and Shedinja always has 1 HP remaining. The only guys I had that could do anything about it (with Toxic, Will O Wisp, et c.) were already knocked out by other members of the opposition, so I really had no choice but to forfeit.

Turns out that the combo isn't as all-powerful as I feared. I got a note from someone at TV Tropes that said it only stops one hit, after which it's fair game again. On one hand, I'm happy because I'm not going to be fooled by the trick twice; on the other hand, I'm upset because if I'd stuck around for one more turn, I would've taken out at least one 'Mon on that guy's team.

Eh, I kinda gave up on the Dream World months ago. I just find the whole thing too unwieldy to use easily (and I think I may have forgotten my user name and password, anyway :| ). I tried it once with a Glaceon, and got a Tangela with a secret Ability, and that was it.

It is a bit on the annoying side. Once per a day, an hour only, and you can only grow berries there. People sleep at least eight hours a day, who knows how much of that we're dreaming but couldn't the have made the time period longer?

Do kinda like the fact you can do your Berries in one patch and that other people can water them.

So... N's full name has been revealed, among other things.

N's real name is Natural Harmonia Gropius.

Naturally.

...

Not saying that I knew, of course; I'd always assumed that "N Harmonia" was his real name.

I started a new game on Black and White. I just recently caught Cobalion and nick named it Iron Beast. I nick named the one I got in Black Iron Will. The weird thing is with the one I caught in White it kept on breaking out of every Pokeball I threw at it. Even the Ultras and Dusks that I threw at it. The weird thing is that I used Haxorus' False Swipe to get it down to 1 hp. I was sort of surprised when I caught the Cobalion I caught in White(Iron Beast) with a mere two or three Greats. Weird huh?

Heh. The 'catching' mechanic is kind of weird like that.
