I guess it's easier to make progress if you don't have much of a life. I almost always have a hour a day I can dedicate to the Dream World. And with the exception of the Whalelord game I've gotten good at the Pokemon's challenges.

I have yet to try the dream world. Also even with my Pokemon at Level 50 + I still lose all my Pokemon to either Caitlyn or Shauntal. I have no problem usually making it through Marshal and Grimsley.

Well it seem I won't be making progress anymore because the hotspot I was using is gone, and as I mentioned before I can only sometimes get the one at the Base Exchange to work. I'm not even sure I'll be able to ever wake up the last pokemon I sent to sleep.

Welp, just beat Brycen today. Party's largely the same as before, but now I've Cool Croc with a Druddigon named Drag Guard.

I beat the Elite 4 yesterday, but I haven't gone to face N yet on my newest game on White. I am leveling up my Pokemon to Level 55 which is what the guide recommends.

Won a match, lost one. My Random Battle record stands at 2-3.

Make that 2-5. I learned that if you live in the U.S., you shouldn't play any Random Battles after 10p.m.; you stand a higher chance of going up against those who have at least 150 victories more than you (namely, the Japanese).

Battle #1: My team got stomped by a Rotom (water-type); took it to within a pixel or two of zero health without knocking it out.

Battle #2: I went up against an all-ghost team, which I fared only marginally better against. The third guy on his team was a Shedinja, and it was---I kid you not---invincible against direct damage, not just against those types that Wonder Guard would stop. How, you ask? It had a Focus Sash equipped, which prevents one-hit KOs from full health and leaves the 'Mon with 1 HP remaining... and Shedinja always has 1 HP remaining. The only guys I had that could do anything about it (with Toxic, Will O Wisp, et c.) were already knocked out by other members of the opposition, so I really had no choice but to forfeit.

Okay that is one evil combination. I'll have to remember that.

I learned today that if you leave a pokemon dreaming long enough they'll gain a level. To do this you have to leave the dream world with the second button rather than the first. Also don't make a wish so you can continue to go to the island of dreams.

Wow. I wouldn'y think that would be a legal combo...

In other news, I beat Iris the other day! All eight Badges of Unova are mine!

When you get to Ghetsis, watch out for Hydregion. Also Bisharp and Elektross are pains to beat. As long as you have one of the three Unova beasts (Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion) in your team you should make short work of Bisarp and Hydregion especially if they use dark type attacks on one of the three previously mentioned Pokemon. Congrats on beating Iris by the way!

Is anyone else having trouble logging into the Global Link? There have been many times where I got my password and username right and it won't log me in.

I've crtl-f5, but still takes me forever to log in.

I just checked the site, and it looks like the Global Link is under maintenence. We probably won't be able to get on until some time tommorow.

Welp, I beat the Elite Four, N, and Ghetsis earlier today. Honestly, taking out that Hydreigon didn't seem as hard as everyone makes it out to be...

How'd you manage that? Surviving Hydreigon, I mean.
