Oh, please. Deviating from source materials has been part of the
Ninja Turtles legacy ever since the beginning. I mean, the original comics have all of the Turtles wearing red, a seemingly non-Caucasian April O'Neil, Shredder dying in the first story then coming back to life through a worm-based cloning process only to die again, a cyborg Donny, Raph spending a significant amount of time as a
dinosaur, and a generally darker tone than any of the adaptations, but I don't see you bitching about any of
that not being in your precious 80's cartoon, do I?
Also, Bay is producing the movie, not directing it. There's a difference.
