Hmmm...for Nabiki, yuki-onna is not quite right (think about the magical tattoos ); for Kasumi, yep 8).

Correct , although there are some differences (they are "experiments" to the organization).

Well, it’s been a while, but here is another snippet 8)!

...............

Needless to say, Ranma was quite dumbfounded at the sight of the Tendo homemaker as some sort of fairy out of legend. With some hesitancy, Ranma said, “K-Kasumi…”

The eldest Tendo daughter interrupted him. “W-What a-are you, Ra-ranma?” There was clear fear in Kasumi’s voice as she pressed herself against the wall of the cell and as far away from Ranma as possible.

The martial artist looked confused at her declaration. Narrowing his eyes briefly, he took a short step forward. When Kasumi flinched at the sight, a frown appeared on his face. ‘Kasumi really is afraid of me.’ Since his appearance was human, that meant… Facing his hands outwards as a sign of peace, Ranma quietly stated, “Kasumi, we need to get out of her. I’m not gonna hurt you.”

“I-I…” began Kasumi. Swallowing, she started again, “I-I’m sorry, Ranma. It’s j-just your not…right.” The homemaker was twisting a piece of cloth in her hands and her eyes darted from side-to-side, seeming to look for an avenue of escape.

Sighing, Ranma relented since he did not have time to argue. “Okay, Kasumi. I let Nabiki out. Join up with her across the hall while I check for the others.”

Still nervous, Kasumi nonetheless nodded in acceptance.

Racing out the door, he noted that Nabiki and Yukiko, the former was standing behind the latter, were now out of the cell and walking towards them. Giving his own nod at the middle Tendo sister (who seemed relieved at the acknowledgment of her sister’s presence), Ranma ran down the hall towards the next cell. Quickly unlocking it, he examined inside, but no one was present. With even more speed he went to the next room, but it was empty as well. Growling in frustration and panic, he continued to examine the cells, but no one else was present. With each empty room, Ranma’s anxiety in finding the others grew.

As he was about to turn the corner to continue his search, he almost ran into a group of people. Ranma was about to get into a fighting stance, but relaxed after seeing who was there.

“Ranma!” screamed almost simultaneously Yuka and Sayuri. Without thinking the two raced towards him and engulfed the teenager in a hug. And almost immediately, the two realized what they were doing and quickly released Ranma; a slight blush was now present on both girls’ cheeks.

Happy that some of the others escaped, he saw an older man, with somewhat spiked hair and an unshaven chin, was carrying…Yuka!?! ‘What the hell!?!’ was Ranma’s dominant thought.

Seeing his stare and surprise, Yuka started, “Oh, Ranma, that’s…”

However, her explanation was cut off by ‘Yuka,’ who was struggling to remain awake, ‘R-Ranma, wh-where is U-Ukyo-sama?’

The manner of address clued Ranma to the identity of the person since there was only one individual he knew who would do so. “Konatsu?” tentatively asked Ranma.

‘Yuka’ nodded and closed her eyes, concentrating deeply. Eventually, ‘Yuka’ slowly morphed into the form of the cross-dressing ninja who worked and lived at Ucchan’s. Indicating to the man holding him that he was fine now, Konatsu was gently allowed to stand-up, although the ninja still needed a bit of help in remaining balanced.

Shaking off his surprise, Ranma bitterly answered Konatsu’s question. “No. I haven’t.” The shapeshifter looked down at the floor with this information, but did not reply.

Ranma examined the rest of those present. He noted a blond swordswoman was guarding the back of the group, facing towards the hallway from where they just came. Sensing his stare, she glanced at Ranma and turned back her attention. Standing near her and also almost hiding behind the man was Shampoo. Her head was cast downward and she seemed to be depressed as well as lost in thought.

“Shampoo, you alright?” asked Ranma with concern. The Amazon hesitantly glanced his way. For a brief moment, Shampoo’s nails sharpened and her eyes slit like a… ‘Oh, great,’ thought Ranma with a small shiver.

The purple-haired girl looked away from Ranma and nodded. “Shampoo okay, Aire…Ranma.”

The pigtailed vampire winced at the change in address. He could make a few guesses as to why. ‘She must have seen Cologne too. Maybe she feels guilty somehow.’ However, he did not have time to reflect on those issues now. Looking again over the group, Ranma’s knuckles began to tighten as he realized the lack of certain individuals. If some of the other rescuers did not find them…Ranma did not want to complete that thought.

Yuka started talking again. “Ranma,” she began and then pointed at the older man, “This is Takamichi Takahata,.” Shifting her direction to the blond woman, she added, “And that’s Toko Kuzunoha. There part of the group that came to rescue us.” Hesitantly, she added, “Did, Did you find anyone else?”

After giving a nod, Ranma replied, “Nabiki and Kasumi.” With a slight growl, he included, “Also that bitch doctor.” Worrying over Akane, Genma, Ukyo, and the rest was eating away at Ranma. Not able to take it, he smashed his hand into the wall next to him, which cracked under the assault. The teenagers present were startled by the action. Toko again glanced in his direction at the noise.

A few moments later the group saw Nabiki and Kasumi were running down the hall. Yukiko was being dragged by Nabiki and almost stumbling with each step. Kasumi was behind the two so that they would not bump into her wings. Reaching everyone else, the group except for Ranma was startled by the eldest Tendo’s appearance. Still casting a nervous eye towards Ranma, Kasumi almost blushed under the scrutiny.

Nabiki searched through the group and scowled, “Akane and Dad aren’t here.” Turning towards the scientist, she glared. With an icy voice, Nabiki said, “Where is everyone else?” A cold aura was once again building around her.

Yukiko snorted and answered with a smirk, “I do not know since I was not authorized to have the escape coordinates.”

The middle Tendo daughter used her past business skills to search her eyes for any signs of deception. Growling in frustration, she exclaimed, “Dammit!”

Shortly after the sounds of footsteps along with moving wheels were heard from the hall Yuka, Sayuri, and the rescuers were previously. Toko relaxed her guard after seeing a familiar face. A dark-skinned man who had a knife in one hand and a gun in the other ran down the hall towards the blond woman.

“Gandolfini,” Toko nodded to the newcomer and then continued, “Report.”

The man looked at the group and was also surprised by Kasumi‘s appearance. Shaking his head, he replied, “It seems that the captors have abandoned the facility. Resistance is pretty nonexistent at this point.” Looking over his shoulder, he then pointed to the approaching cage. “We found this animal in one of the cells. It seemed pretty suspicious with its magical aura and so we brought it along.”

The two who were pulling the cage stopped and wiped off the sweat from their brow. One would be described as bishonen, while the other seemed somewhat heavyset.

“I think that’s my exercise for the month,” joked the bishonen. The portly man nodded his agreement.

It only took a moment for many of those in the group to recognize the individual inside the cage. “Pop!” cried out Ranma as he ran to the cage.

Grabbing onto the bars, the pigtailed teenager called out again, “Damn, Pop, am I glad to see your lazy ass again!” However, instead of grunting in response, the panda ignored him and continued to eat the bamboo in its paws.

Shivering slightly from the lack of intelligence in his cursed father‘s eyes, Ranma tentatively said, “Come on, Old Man. These guys came here to rescue us. You can quit the act.”

Receiving no acknowledgment from the panda, Ranma lowered his head and gripped the bars tighter. One more, Ranma weakly spoke, “Pop?” Yuka and Sayuri both looked at the spectacle on the verge of tears. Nabiki gritted her teeth in frustration while Konatsu and Kasumi bowed their heads in sadness.

Suddenly, the vampire roared and dashed towards Yukiko. Roughly grabbing her from Nabiki, the Tendo daughter struggled to maintain her balance. The scientists was roughly shoved against the nearby wall, knocking the air out of her.

Looking down at the arm which was easily lifting her, Yukiko saw the black sclera eyes of Ranma Saotome. Toko narrowed her eyes at the sight while Takamichi frowned slightly.

With barely contained rage, Ranma ground out, “What happened to my father?” However, Yukiko was paralyzed with fright, the memories of her brother’s and comrades’ deaths came back to her at the sight of those eyes. Pushing her harder against the wall, the vampire screamed, “I said, what the hell happened to my father!?!”

Apparently, the force was enough to shock Yukiko enough to speak. “F-F-Failed ly-lycanth-thropy ex-per-iment.”

When it seemed that Ranma was going to apply even more force to the woman, a hand was placed upon the cursed teenager’s shoulder. The vampire looked over to see Takamichi staring at him.

The man calmly stated, “It won’t do to hurt her anymore. Right?”

In his rage, Ranma almost attacked Takamichi for interrupting, but a flashback of the laboratory slaughter brought a moment of clarity to him. And so Ranma fought to control his rage. Eventually, he was able to calm down enough that he dropped the woman, who immediately began to gasp in restoring her proper breathing.

Looking down at the floor, Ranma growled out in frustration and exclaimed, “Shit!”

Wow, it’s been a while. Sorry for the long delay in updating. RL has been keeping me busy, but I wanted to scrounge together at least a snippet before the holidays. This snippet is a transition one between the “Confinement” arc and the “Introductions” arc. Finally :) !!!

A couple of things to note:

1. I will further decrease the time difference between Negi’s introduction to six months. When looking at both the Ranma and Negima timelines, a lot can happen within that period of time, so don't be surprised if there is even further time decreases, depending upon how the story develops. However, I also want to give Ranma and crew sufficient time to develop “roots” within the community before the Negi canon (or at least what will be left of it) is introduced. If there is any further comments on what you think is an appropriate timeline convergence, let me know.

2. Yuka and Sayuri will play a somewhat larger role than I originally had thought. When thinking on the bond, I got a few more inspirations for stories. A few details on the “bond” have been changed as well. For example, the bond now allows for networking between the involved parties. In previous snippets, I mixed up the mechanics a bit.

3. The magical organization’s goals have been somewhat altered, although the original details were not fully released anyway 8).

4. Konatsu’s shapechanging does have limitations, which will be disclosed in a later snippet.

And now onto the snippet…

...............

The procession exiting the castle was a somber one. Ranma took note of his surroundings through dull eyes. Everything seemed too surreal for the pigtailed fighter. After various months of captivity, Ranma thought he would feel elation over being free. However, the surrounding circumstances made the taste of freedom bitter.

Akane was missing. Ukyo was missing. Soun was missing. Probably the Kunos as well as some of the others. His father’s mind was locked with the mentality of a normal panda. Yeah, Ranma did not feel any need for celebration. Taking a look to those with him, he noted that Nabiki and Kasumi were clutching each other like a security blanket. Not that he could blame them. Both their sister and father were not rescued. Yuka and Sayuri were staying relatively close to Ranma without violating his personal space. Both Shampoo and Konatsu walked a distance from the group; Shampoo still had a look of terrible guilt on her face, while Konatsu seemed alert of those coming close to him.

Almost dispassionately, Ranma noted his father being carted away towards a loading truck. Although Ranma felt he should, the aquatransexual could not handle spending another moment with how Genma was. Maybe later, after the shock wore off, but Ranma was too emotionally exhausted now. However, when he noted Yukiko, there was a surge of…something in Ranma. Hate…rage…the emotion was far too extensive to simply quantify.

When going to find the others, it was a spur of the moment decision to take the doctor with him rather than killing her on the spot. At the time, part of Ranma felt she might be useful when trying to liberate the others from their cells. Now, hopefully, their rescuers would be able to obtain some useful information out of the woman. Ranma, and probably the rest of the others, would be more than happy to help in the interrogation. The dark-skinned man, Gandolfini, as well as the bishonen and portly man, were escorting the detained Yukiko into another vehicle.

It was nighttime now. Due to Ranma’s circumstances, some preliminary questioning was done inside the castle during the day. Toko and Takamichi insisted that the others could leave beforehand, but they were just as numb as Ranma and felt no hurry in leaving their place of confinement for the past several months.

Various men and women were running about. A few were barking orders and pointing towards different areas. Toko immediately walked towards two teenage girls, each one seeming to be the polar opposite of the other in looks. The girl who also carried a sword like Toko was petite, her skin tone was pale, and she had a ponytail extending from her left side. The other teenager who had a rifle strapped over her shoulder had a busty figure, her skin tone was dark, and she had long hair trailing the length of her back. After a few words being exchanged, mostly between Toko and the petite girl, the teenagers glanced over their group before separating.

Taking a better look at his surroundings, Ranma noted that the castle itself seemed to have a European design to it, at least from what Ranma had seen on television and in the movies. The entire castle seemed to have been carved out of the cliffside and was overlooking a valley which had a river at its base. At the other side of the river was another cliffside and a light fog was permeating the air, giving the atmosphere an almost dreamlike feel to it.

Although the architecture and area did not seem to be Japanese, Takamichi insisted that they were still in the country. ‘Probably some kind of magic,’ bitterly thought Ranma. It always came down to magic; the pigtailed vampire really despised that word. ‘Magic’ was the beginning of all of his troubles at Jusenkyo and had continued to plague the teenager for over the past year in some form or the other. Particularly for the past three months, he and the others were nothing but guinea pigs for some badass wizards, mages, or whatever the hell you would call them.

All of the martial arts which Ranma had spent the majority of his life perfectly, and what had he accomplished. Akane and the others were still missing. Everyone was turned into some magical freak and Ranma was now a certified killer. And it was ‘magic’ which was the root of it all. A glimmer of something shown in Ranma’s eyes at the thought. ‘If magic started it all, then…’ Ranma trailed that thought off, although the seed was planted.

High above at the top of the tallest spire in the castle, a purple-haired woman was staring towards the pigtailed fighter and smiled. However, when the aforementioned boy turned his head briefly in that direction, no one was to be found.

…And unnoticed by the purple-haired woman, a figure in brown robes and whose face could not be seen from underneath the hood was watching everything from on top of the cliff facing towards the castle. A patch of fog obscured the figure for a moment, and when it passed, not a soul was there.

I’m surprised how quickly I was able to write this snippet. Good times :D.

...............

Within the office of Mahora Academy, an old man was reviewing a stack of papers littered about his desk. The man had a long beard, bushy eyebrows, and his head could be described as looking like an eggplant. He was Konoemon Konoe, the current Dean of Mahora Academy as well as the chief of the Kantou Magic Assocation, which was responsible for regulating and monitoring magical activities within the Kantou region of Japan.

A pensive frown was on Konoemon’s face as he reviewed the documents. Then a knock was heard at the door. Sighing deeply, Konoemon took a minute to rub the bridge of his nose before he spoke, “You may enter, Toko, Takamichi.”

The swordswoman and kanka fighter wordlessly entered the office and closed the door behind them. The Mahora Academy dean leaned forward onto the desk, steepling his hands in the process. “So,” he began, “Thank you for your prompt reports. It must have been tiring to complete them while in transit, but time is of the essence.” The two nodded in acknowledgement. “Now, before I begin, we need to wait for…” Another knock was heard at the door. “Ah…there she is, come in, Evangeline.”

Toko frowned, while Takamichi merely raised an eyebrow slightly as the door opened, after which a small girl entered the room. Her blond hair was long and trailed done almost the length of her body, which appeared to be that of a 10 year old. Dressed in the middle school uniform, the girl immediately went to the plush chair in front of the desk and sat down. Although small and petite in figure, Evangeline exalted a maturity far beyond her apparent looks, at least most of the time. “So,” she drawly began, “I take it those kids have been found.”

Konoemon nodded behind his hands. “Correct. Unfortunately, it appears that not everyone was accounted for at the complex and some are still considered missing.” The old man took one of the folders from the pile and glanced through it. “I asked for your assistance, Eva, because, as you probably have heard, those kidnapped were put through various magical experiments. I was hoping your own knowledge on exotic magics would help enlighten us.”

The school dean handed the folder over to Eva, who indifferently began to scan through the papers. A frown formed on the girl’s face when looking over the contents. After a moment, she commented, “Transfiguration and transmutation magic of this scale is no small feat, but not impossible given the right access to certain components. Obviously, whoever this group is has access to large amounts of resources, but that was apparent from the beginning.” After scanning through a few more pages, she added, “Although the reasoning behind some of these experiments seem pretty silly to me, including…” The vampiress stopped as she came across one certain profile.

“Ah, I see you have found the report on young Ranma,” stated Konoemon after noting Eva’s pause. “Given his unique situation, I was hoping you would personally be able to help the boy.”

Evangeline closed the folder shut, and after tucking it under one arm, stood up. “Hmph,” the girl almost snorted. The doll master abruptly turned and walked towards the door. Before exiting, she commented, “Send my consultation fee to the usual account.”

A few moments after Eva exited, Konoemon spoke to the remaining people. “So, now let’s discuss in detail the rescue.” Taking another folder, Konoko’s grandfather summarized the report. “Minimal losses on our side, but total annihilation of the enemy’s forces, except for the capture of one person named Yukiko Aoki, who seems to be one of the lead scientists from the facility. When it became apparent that it was our victory, the remaining enemy troops committed suicide by some unknown means. That is correct?”

Toko nodded in the affirmative. “Affirmative, sir. Losses on our own forces were primarily novice mages. Additionally, the method in which the enemy soldiers committed suicide is currently under investigation. The scientist was taken into custody by Ranma Saotome during his escape. She is correctly being held at the detention center.”

Looking down at the notes again, the dean nodded. “It says here that Ranma mentioned he was in previous confrontations with three ‘higher class’ fighters, named Azami, Garrick, and Cologne. Azami Hayashi was a neighbor to those kidnapped, responsible for the large-scale sleep spell, and seems to have some control over plants, Garrick’s description is vague, only there being a ‘grey-furred fist’ as well as ‘high level speed.’ Cologne was one of the kidnapped’s great-grandmother, specifically the girl named Shampoo. She was the matriarch to the Joketsuzoku tribe of warriors located in the Bayankala mountain range of China. Cologne was also apparently de-aged through unknown means. Any additional comments?”

Takamichi rubbed his chin and added, “The information I was able to collect on Azami from the residents of Nerima seems to verify that she was the one who brought the blue flowers, which were the cause of the sleep spell, into the neighborhood.”

The swordswoman interjected, “A ‘grey-furred fist’ and ‘high level speed,’ although vague, might indicate a youkai of some form.”

“And Happosai can personally attest to the skill level of Cologne,” continued Takamichi, “He also verified that Ranma is of sufficient skill to note such aspects as well, although he did not say it as nicely.”

“So, can we trust the great-granddaughter Shampoo?” bluntly asked Konoemon.

Toko and Takamichi shared a glance before the former said, “Offhand, she seems to be feeling guilt due to the involvement of her great-grandmother. However, it seems those involved in this organization are skilled enough at deception. For the moment, it might be prudent to proceed with caution around her. Keep her away from classified areas and sensitive information until a more formal investigation is done.”

Konoemon looked towards the former Ala Rubra member. When Takamichi nodded in agreement, the dean stated, “Very well. Now the question remains: why three such individuals were not present at the confrontation?”

The Shinmeiryuu swordswoman shook her head. “Perhaps a more appropriate question would be: why the operation went as smoothly as it did? The enemy’s defenses were barely adequate, although they must have had sophisticated detection equipment since our infiltration teams were quickly discovered. Additionally, some of those who are still missing were evacuated from the premise too quickly, while most of the ones recovered where apparently discarded.”

The old man leaned back into the chair and started to stroke his beard. “And so we probably can conclude that this ‘organization’ had a contingency plan in place. Should their facility be compromised, all important subjects and equipment were immediately transported while everything else was deemed ‘expendable.’” After a sigh of defeat, he continued, “Although, this theory does not cover all aspects. A more detailed investigation is certainly in order.” Shaking his head, Konoemon asked, “And where are the ones rescued currently?”

Takamichi answered, “As instructed, Shizuna is giving them a medical check-up, except for Ranma’s father, who is still within his cage and being kept in the loading bay. In the meantime, we are transporting their immediate family here.”

The Mahora Academy dean nodded his head, “Good. Good. For the family members, it is unavoidable that they receive some details pertaining to the magical circumstances of these kidnappings. However, it is imperative that the penalties of publicly divulging such information be impressed upon them.” After another sigh, Konoemon continued, “Now, I have to start preparing a report to the Kansai Magic Association. We have been able to hedge any inquiries due to an ‘ongoing rescue operation,’ but now that the operation is complete, and some of those kidnapped are still missing, Kyoto will most likely try and use this situation to their favor. And I doubt Eishun will be able to placate them all.”

Looking at his two subordinates, Konoemon gave them a smile, “However, we will continue to work hard in locating the rest of those missing, so I still need to count on you both in the future.” Toko and Takamichi nodded their heads. “My thanks. You are both dismissed and can return to your usual duties for the moment.”

“Yes, sir,” the two chorused and then left the room, leaving Konoemon alone. Turning his chair to look over the expanse of Mahora Academy, the old man saw the various students and faculty happily mingling about while the World Tree towered in the distance. After he smiled slightly at the scene before him, Konoemon’s countenance was filled with determination. With a renewed resolve, he returned to scan through the various documents.

...............

So now a few more Negima characters are introduced.

A belated Happy New Year to everyone! And here is a snippet :D.

-ranmafan1

...............

Ranma fidgeted as he looked around the waiting room of the temporary medical tent. Apparently, all of them needed to get a brief checkup before being brought to see their families. The martial artist was rather impatient about the situation. However, the good news Takamichi mentioned to him was that his mother was safe and that he would be able to meet with her shortly. However, the vampire was still a touch nervous on how she would react upon learning the details of his new nature as well as his father’s current situation.

Looking around the room’s occupants, Ranma noted that most everyone was showing signs of impatience as well. Additionally, ever since his vampire nature was exposed to the rest of the survivors, Ranma has been getting a few discrete glances from the various people here and there. Kasumi was especially being more nervous around him. The Tendo homemaker was sitting on a stool so that her prominent wings would not be jostled against the backrest of a chair. Nearby was her sister Nabiki, who seemed to be deep in concentration. A few beads of sweat could be seen accumulating on the girl’s forehead.

The aquatransexual correctly figured that the middle Tendo sister was currently trying to keep her new abilities restrained. It seemed that at certain intervals if she lost control, a strong cold aura started to form around her. Konatsu was in a similar state of concentration, except he was sitting in a lotus position on the ground. Although the effeminate ninja now looked the same as before the shape-shifting, Ranma could not help but think that there was something different about him.

Yuka and Sayuri were sitting close to his chair and fidgeting nervously. Ranma wondered what the two were thinking about at the moment. Although they shared some sort of telepathic connection, the vampire could not read their minds at any given moment. It was more like making a telephone call: he or they ‘dialed’ one of them and the other party ‘answered.’ However, when experiencing more extreme emotions, they could subconsciously ‘send’ some of those feelings to the others. This was particularly potent when they would be… Ranma cut off that train of thought.

Glancing at the two, Ranma admitted that they were cute, but before their capture he never thought of them in a physical sense. They were Akane’s friends who occasionally made the obscure comment, but who stayed mostly in the background of what was Ranma’s chaotic life. And now they’ve done things together that the rest of the fiancées, particularly Shampoo, have been attempting for the past year.

Even though they had been physically intimate, Ranma did not think of it as love. The feelings during those times was very…primal. An all-consuming hunger that wanted to be satisfied. It was actually quite scary how the feedings degenerated from just drinking blood and led to sex. The martial artist pondered how everyone would react when they eventually found out, because no secret was consistently kept in his life. Except for a few, those connected to Ranma also tended to overact when they learned information they did not like.

Looking over at Shampoo, the vampire considered that she was probably the only one he really needed to watch out for upon discovering the truth. With her current mood, Ranma had no idea how she would react, but he would not let anyone hurt Yuka or Sayuri. This situation was not their fault at all. They were just ordinary schoolgirls who got caught up in one of the messes that usually involved only the NWC.

And, of course, there was Akane to consider. She would obviously be mad, but Ranma really would not mind her hitting him a few times with a mallet, because at least that meant she and the others would be here, safe and sound. Even someone as stubborn as Akane would eventually admit the circumstances were bizarre.

With a small sigh which briefly drew some attention to him, the Saotome heir was having difficulty thinking about Akane. She was still out there somewhere along with Ukyo and the others. Ranma almost wanted to lash out at the people from Mahora about their failure to rescue the others, but the teenager could not because of his own inability to save them. At least they were able to able to do something. Quite frankly, Ranma was disgusted with himself, as evidenced by the tightening of his knuckles to almost the point of drawing blood.

The vampire had to continuously repress such thoughts, lest he needlessly release some of his anger. Now was not the time for such things. Not yet.

Ranma’s ruminations were interrupted by a woman’s voice. “Excuse me, everyone.” The residents of Nerima turned to the person who entered the tent. She was a tall woman who was wearing a business suit and skirt combination. Over her outfit was a white lab coat and she wore a set of oval-shaped glasses. Ranma felt like a pervert, but he could not help but notice that the woman possessed an extremely large bust.

The aquatransexual also noted a few of the other present women, like Sayuri and Yuka, were giving the newcomer some envious stares. Ranma thought the two should not be so hard on themselves. Sure this woman had a generous figure, but they were beautiful in their own right, as Ranma remembered from various nights. The teenager guiltily blushed at the thoughts; this really was not the time to think about such things.

“Thank you for your patience,” pleasantly continued the woman, “My name is Shizuna Minamoto and I am a nurse at Mahora Academy. Before we transit you to the Academy, we want to give everyone a brief check-up.” She seemed like a nice enough person and continued to smile throughout her speech. Shizuna scanned over a clipboard she held and flipped through a few pages. Looking over the assembled people, the nurse called out, “Yuka, would you come with me, please?”

The long-haired girl nervously stood up, and after glancing at Sayuri and Ranma, followed the nurse outside the tent.
