What's Ya Favorite Non-Ranma Anime?

Well We all know Ranma is the best so what comes in Second? There are many and the list is long but I'll give the tops and see who gets it. Hundred Day Poll so you have plenty of time to vote!
P.S. Ugh.. represents my personal oppinion.
I know there are hundreds of others but for the sake of I think i have most everyone of the best ones, I don't think i'll put an "other" selection.
Hope I didn't forget any uber important ones though I probably did.
I just hope most people vote away from Cartoon Network Adult Swim Anime.
I'll say it here and now that my choice by far is Saikano. Best Anime Series I've ever seen. By an exceptional margin, followed by a three way tie between Full Metal Panic, Akira, and Armatige.
P.S. I had to delete Lodoss War, Ghost in the Shell, Sorcerer hunters and a few others because I had too many poll options. I tried to delete the most uncommon ones though it may not really seem that way. I had to delete two of my Favorites!

Although if it was GitS I would have voted that. I must admit Saikano was brilliant, and but the Live Action killed me when I watched it.. and I loved the manga a lot more.. it was far too depressing..

Another was BGC2032, the 2040 version doesn't have the music or the sting of the original.
Better than Ranma by a wide margin was Urusei Yatsura, same kind of wacky hijinks, but those were people you could hold out hope they would learn and grow. Also they held together not because they `had` to, but because they could trust each other (within reason). Anyone could be the leader, a real tream, not the herd charging to rescue whoever.

It's not actually released in English as of yet - Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.
And you really should've included an 'other' option - I'm not even willing to consider any of those above as my favorite (not having seen a good portion of them could do that). I'd probably go with DCG and vote Nanoha, though.

I'd have to say Cowbow Bebop.
First real Anime I saw that wasn't Sailor Moon, and it blew me away.
I do like all of the others, but I haven't seen Saikano. That's the one with the girl who somehow is the ultimate weapon, correct?

I've never watched Cowboy Bebop and know more about Ah My Goddess from fanfiction than actually watching it. I've attempted to start to like cowboy bebop a few times but i could never get into it. It reminded me too much of Outlaw star and Bubble Gum Crisis. (I think... might be another name.) I'm impressed though. We're at fuku fics and no one has yet chosen sailor moon? Ah well...
