Kitsune Descendants.

Are there any Ranma 1/2 and Naruto crossovers where Nodoka and consequently Ranma are unknowing descendants of the 9 tailed fox spirit sealed in Naruto?

You know how traits from a progenitor can be less apparent in successive generations. I just thought it would be fun to see something like that. Maybe even with the Kitsune somehow sensing the connection while still imprisoned.

But I don't know if anyone has written a fic like that yet.

Um.. I remember a Harry Potter story where he was the reincarnation of Ranma who was the reincarnation of Naruto, but that's about as close as I can remember to what you're looking for. To be honest, it sounds like an interesting idea (especially since Ranma the kitsune would be amazing) but I don't think anyone's actually written one quite like what you're asking about.

Went to the link to glance at it. Its cute how in that set up you have Ranma not only as Kitsune's daughter but Naruto's older sister too. Going to read it as soon as I finish what I'm currently re-reading.

Short doesn't matter. This is a story that has at least Ranma as a Kitsune descendant. So its as close as you can get without having Nodoka be one.

Oh ouch. I can see why you were reluctant to post the link. The fic suffers from not poor pacing but a complete lack of it. Everything is what the author wants to have happen right then no questions asked. None of the characters are really there the names are being used but their personalities are gone so that their positions can be used to the quickest effect of the authors whim.

Here's hoping someone writes something better sooner rather than later.
