I found it now! It's 'Right Moments' by Judah. It's actually only 89k words long, that's why I missed it before. Check it out if you like; although it is probably not everybody's cup of tea, I definitely recommend trying it.
(I found it by searching google for one of the new techniques Ranma develops and uses in that fic, 'kissing the face of life'. I got exactly one match for the exact phrase... )

I, too, am looking for a lost fic. Ranma gets his blood infused with the powder from the broken Nanban Mirror by Happosai, which causes him to start over at the same day each morning, a lá Groundhog Day. He then embarks on an enormous spiritual journey as he tries to resolve his challenges and find a cure that lets him resume his life.
Anybody know what I'm talking about?
