Happy Observation Day Neptune!

As of July 12th it has been one Neptunian year since the Planet Neptune was first observed as a planet.

Alex Hudson of BBC News wrote:Neptune is about to celebrate its first birthday. On 12 July it will be exactly one Neptunian year - or 164.79 Earth years - since its discovery on 24 September 1846.

Did you know that the cross orbit almost made Scientists rescind the title of planet. Because of the defining quality of clearing its own orbit? The same excuse used to say Pluto is not a planet. And if you want to get technical, because of the size of our moon, they could also use to say Earth is not technically a planet any more than Pluto is?
