Hidden scene in X-men 3 movie

Postby ChasTaro » Mon Jun 05, 2006 2:57 am

If you go to see the X-men 3 movie stay till the end of the credits.
There is a short scene that pops up on the screen.
All is not as it seems.

Dam. I walked out once the credits began. What was it?

If I told you here it would spoil it for others who haven't gone yet, so I'll send you a private message.

Hmm.. so what did you think about the movie? I haven't gone to see it and I'm debating whether I should go to see it or not. I keep getting mixed reviews.
Most say it's a bastardization of the X-men series. But as there are so many continuities and the like I can only take that with a pinch of salt.
I do know that they apparently kill off a bunch of the main players, but I'm wondering if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
What do you all think? Is this just a contrived sequal to an already dead series or is there some sort of closure here? I don't want it to be like the Matrix, where I just felt there wasn't a need for the other two, although I guess I can see where some people are coming from.
Hmm from Light's post, it seems a possibility of a sequel or spinoffs or whatnot. But from the trailers it seemed like a massive war was waged in three, if so then what's four going to be about? Apocalyse? *shrugs* the aftermath of the war or what?
I don't know. I guess I should go see the movie before I start talking. Heh.

the movie itself was good if you don't know the comics, which is why alot of diehards are complaing *only had acouple of minor gripes but that was it* and yes about spin offs and sequels pretty much said there was gonna be more of this timeline.

The only X-men I know is that Fox Kids one Evolution. Which was okay while it lasted. And AoA, but that was an alterverse of sorts so I don't suppose this would matter right?

X-Men Evolution was Kids WB not Fox Kids.

My bad. *shrugs* it said Fox Kids back in China. Must have been a labeling error.
Well I figure it's only about 5 bucks to go watch the movie here, so I mind as well just push aside my hesitations and reservations and watch the movie before passing judgement.

Well I haven't read any X-men comics scence high school. Some of you weren't born yet back then. Anyway they didn't follow any plot that I remember from back then. Also they left lots of hints for a sequel. I don't thank as many died in the movie as most people believed. Hint, hint. Wolveren found the Raybans but no body. Also the hidden scene.
The writters most likely went for a fresh story rather than just what everyong knew from the comics.

Ahh, X-men 3. Loved, hated, but never ignored.
The thing about that movie was, it ruled as much as it sucked. Depending on what you watch it for, it's realy several different movies.
A cool movie: You get all kinds of mutants, different powers, fight scenes, the works. Like, remember the Deathstrike/Wolverine battle from X2? Imagine something on a bigger scale, several times.
A crap movie: Unlike X1 and X2, which focoused a lot on the charecters and how they evolve as people, this film focouses on the mutant/human conflicts. WHile we get lots of insite into the way that mutant kind fares, what little charecter devolopment takes place is an afterthought, or a veivhal to show the world. We realy only see anyone as a mutant who has powers, not a real person with 3-dimensional feelings.
An X-men movie: THis reeks of X-men. It royaly screws up juggernort, but everything else feels right. Wolvie as a cigar smoking combat specialist, not afriad to take on a giant robot single handed. Colousus as an iron strong man, the team player. Phoenix as, well, phoenix.
The judgement: Fun. It fucks itself by not realy focousing on anyone, treating everyone as a secondary charecter, except posibly Magneto. But it provides so many options for the next movie, and has all sorts of cool fight scenes. I would recomond seeing it, but would never buy the DVD.

On that I have to agree. The juggernat in the movie is a wuss, when compared to the one in the comics.

twitch...
Juggernaut was done decently
mostly due to the fact if you do juggernaut properly
a) he's not a mutant
b) he's unstoppable / invunerable and generally the entire group of xmen might take him down... if they are really lucky
though on the death thing
"I thought you were dead?"
Cyclops "i've been dead, what? Four times now."
Wolverine "I've lost count."
