REC uses the backgrounds sometimes yes... But that's not the character from REC. I'm pretty sure on that... Can't recall having seen that scene earlier tho.

EDIT: It's actually not an image from the show itself, it's a screen shot from the opening animation, which features various Audrey Hepburn parodies.

There, there, Neko-san, don't feel bad. Either, do I, usually.
There are exceptions, of course (like Higurashi no Naku Koro ni), but very rarely are opening/ending animations worth watching more then once or twice... in my opinion, anyway.

The Mystery Horror bits coupled with the 3 ep OVA and 2004 end me up with either Cossette no Shouzou or Interlude. Based on the descriptions, I'm guessing Cossette no Shouzou out of those two.

Actually the biggest giveaway would be the name of the director and the Studio that produced this.... considering they are famous for these type of anime/art-style....
