The Queen of Fukufics

The quarterly reign thing sounds good. Id say use the moon queen and cat advisor titles for those leaving the recipient with no option to change it(with or without a custom image like a medal for the skirt counter ). Since this is a unique acknowledgement and you want others to recognize what they recieved the title for (encourage good behavior as it were). It would also be a lot more organized than having 3 random custom titles pop up every 3 months.
As far as rewarding titles for other achievements, Id leave it up to person sponsoring the contest as to whether they want to provide a unique title/counter badge that they already have ready that relates to the contest (thus making recognition for the achievment easy), or giving them the honor of creating their own custom title and or counter badge(a posibly more attractive option for spamville regulars to add character flavor text) which must pass aproaval.
Really between the two locations it gives the option for two titles by including text in the image field. Depending on where you want to encourage more activity you can make the awards available in different threads.
Flavor wise the image would probably be better associated with the heavy contributions like fan art or fic submission (optional for good color comentary or other regions) as it has the most visability for attracting the eye and shouting 'Hey! I contribute meaningful and/or substantial stuff to the site.' The text is less visable but more easily customized (requiring less work than image creation when starting from scratch) and could be available for any contribution/effort that the admins or provider deems worthy.
Some nominees who havent been mentioned yet would be:
lwf58- hes good at the rules thing and helping people with problems, prompt to respond and provides useful links in his signiature (He was patient with helping me get my avatar image up and working properly and responded quickly and thouroughly to my questions)
Cyber Skaarj- Im not sure how active he's been lately as ive spent more time in spamville, but im pretty sure he contributed to some of the discussions that were raging in the sailor moon or ranma threads, hes also made several animated avatars for various memebers of the site, for the Junsenkyo cursed spamvillians thats pretty considerable. And not only is he good at making them but he's fast too! (Thanks again!)
Sunshine Temple- Short and to the point like a sawed off shot gun, if the thread gets off topic it better shape up or BLAM! The Return and normal admin duties speak for themselves as far as contributions go (and thats without getting under the hood). Somehow either thrue a combination of preciese posting and avatar image puts the fear of god into forum anarchists everywere. If keeping the forums from degenerating into a mess of disorganized garbage that people wouldnt want to sift thrue for the good stuff doesnt deserve a nomination I dont know what does.
All of the nominees on lwf58's list contributed on some level of drawing me to these boards thrue meaningful discussion, wonderful prose, or playfull banter. A special thanks to all of them for making me feel welcome and keeping me coming back daily (or as close as I can manage) for more!

Since the voting is currently more in favor of the titles being extensions of the site posting ranks, I'm looking for ideas for the graphics.

Not bad Larry, but looks a bit too feral for a moon cat I think. Makes me think more of a panther that happens to have an oddly shaped mark on its head.

A little. But I was deliberately staying away from it looking like Luna or Artemis. They are house cat's eyes, though. I wanted something that looks cool, not necessarily something that is a direct cue-in to Sailor Moon.

Hmmm the cat-advisor looks a little sinister. I keep getting reminded of that one scene in Chrono Cross... Feral Cats... or when the Demon Panther attacked.
*shrugs* Perhaps another colour instead of black? Or make a face more distinctive instead of just the eyes and the mark? I don't know... but it looks good still.

The clipart I used as the base for that one wasn't much more than you see now. It's just the eyes and a little hint of fur around them. If I put it on another background color, the edges would chop off arbitrarily. What I'll have to do instead is hunt for a photo of a cat's face and crop to the eyes myself.

I like both, but I think giving the recipient the option might be a good idea, some people want to be cute, some want to be sinister. Or at least thought of as cute, or sinister.

1) Whenever did I get nominated? Real life's been acting up a bit lately so my activity has declined. I'm not THAT active outside of Spamville so I feel I'm not eligable for the title.
2) My posts in Spamville have long since been overtaken by others. Even if postcount had anything to do with actual contributions to the forum, I'd be left in the proverbial dust of quite a few others.
3) Nice one on the moon cats. If I had to choose one I'd go for the black one myself. I like black, and it does look sinister. The white one does have a more innocent look to it's features. The moon princess one looks nice too.
4) Keeping in line with the site, I find we should indeed go for either a Sailor Moon entry (Mooncats/Queen), aswell as some sort of Ranma derivative. Then allow for the choice between the two. I can imagine it being a bit hard to do, but then again, we may go for the title-list of adding every main character of both series, and letting the winner take his/her pick of the list atleast narrowing it down. Choosing own titles may result in possible arguments about people not liking said titles. But for now the Mooncats/Queen thing should work out fine.
As to nominee's...
I'd go fo Patrick on the 'Songs' thread. Keeping an original idea alive by every now and then posting some parody... And actually pulling off those parodies!
Pale_Wolf for the additions in the 'Guess the Movie' thread. Hard to guess one's at times, but still playing along with the rest of the forum in keeping everyone busy with some mind games to divert the muses from overworking themselves on fanfiction.
And lastly, I'd nominate Acey... For the work on the comics. Giving the avatar's faces and allowing for the expansion of the Spamvillian fun for all to read, learn, and be inspired from.

I haven't been so active lately due to work, and just recently having my PC upgraded. Which brings me to the point that I'll not be able to make any animated avatars for a little while, until I get me some more software to do so with (I lost the installation of photoshop and imageready with the upgrade and reformat), shouldn't be that long though, couple of weeks at most.
