Rizelmine and Urusei Yatsura movie 5 and 6 are still awaiting viewing... Need to find time

Most recently watched the first episode of Koi Koi Seven, completely terrible but amusing in it's seemingly random events. Though the constant fanservice seems annoying.

Hmmmm a new series for me Hoshizora Kiseki. It's a great little fantasy romance, although I didn't quite like the ending. I love the artwork though, it has a really great Makoto Shinkai feel to it. *grins* the music is pretty good, although it gets old after awhile.... and the main character annoys me for some reason, although the scene where she is crying in the rain was topnotch classic.
I've just got two new series, I've yet to watch. Project Blue Chikyuu SOS and Night Head Genesis....

Just picked up Tsukihime *sweatdrops*...finally. Gonna watch the whole series in one go.
Oooh and a new series Innocent Venus...Apparently the world is completely altered due to massive amounts of hurricane, and miraculously Japan survives.... *grins* due to their technology. However, the rich and poor are separated and a military group is established to keep the rich and poor from fighting... it's a sci-fi futuristic twist to the Marxist Proletariat vs. the Bourgeois struggle of the classes... or at least that's what I'm getting from the description... *shrugs* We'll see...

Well from the first episode of Innocent Venus, I was extremely amused. It starts off with a shot of the classic post apocalyptic slums with the looming industrial city in the background... government soldiers that look like a toned down Master Chief from Halo are chasing and killing the Revenus (poor people) and the Lithonian refugees... a young girl for moe factor, and a crack-shot with crazy technology.. their cornered ala Jin-Roh and saved by a Psycho Mantis like Ninja who tears apart the soldiers like the last scene in V for Vendetta....
Cut to a flashback general overview that describes the situation we're facing in the anime. Apparenly simultaneous Hyper Hurricanes wipe out 52billion of the worlds 82 billion people, and covers Russia, North America and Europe in Ice. Furthermore the Asian countries (China and Korea mainly) form the Asian Union---Modelled after the European Union--minus Japan invade Japan because it's become a militaristic nation using power armour to dominate it's citizens... *smirks* Of course Japan wins hands down and forces the countries to surrender and sign a non-aggression pact. *smirks*
*smirks* And there is the whole Logos, oppressing the Revenus. Logos being the new government and Revenus being the derogatory term for poor people in this anime. There is some sort of resistance fighting the Logos and some crazy crack squad who's goal is to eliminate terrorists.. of course their all stereotypically unhinged and very bloodthirsty... think Weis Kruez's Schwartz....
Meanwhile we learn more about the escapees in the beginning of the movie. We got the cute little girl who ran away from the city, and is innocent and naive. Super Moe character and super kind. We got Jin who is this cool character and seems to know Sana the super cute moe character...We got Jo the silent Squall type character who is a crazy psycho violent super soldier ala Heero... and Gora who is a hyper idiot ala Naruto.... Jo is from the industrial city as well as Sana and presumably Jin.
Also there is some sort of hidden agenda within the Logos... and we've got the VA who did Revy from Black Lagoon in this too. Plays some sort of agent called Leny *shrugs* Still pretty badass though..
The episode ends with the soldiers attacking the place where Sana, Jin, Jo and Gora are hiding... however they all get slaughtered by a crazy Armored Core like Mechs....
Seems like the soldiers are looking for Venus.....which is still unknown at this point. But the crazy mech battles are pretty interesting.. Sorta like a Zaku meets Armored Core meets Front Mission.
The party escapes but not before we get some touching Sana and Jin byplay... they escape away from the Logos border...
Well the music is good, and it seems interesting if not heavily borrowed from other animes.... the plot seems pretty cliche at the moment but it could prove to be better... Especially if the crack Assassins squad fights again the Refugees group, and we get to find out Jo's hidden past with Logos... *shrugs*
And the government guys look like they're from Full Metal Alchemists.... *smirks*
I wonder how many weird refs, comparisons and whatnots I drew in that one review/summary of the first ep of Innocent Venus

Yeah, sporks, and all I have is through 4. Though that is counting in the 12 minute periods...
Another new anime I'm watching... Night Brain Genesis; a pretty good anime about two brothers with psychich powers.
