At the end of the wishing sword story...

The part where Kuno says that he had intended to give the "pigtailed girl" the last wish as a gift from the beginning, regarding Ranma's reaction (the pose, sprouting of flowers, happy tears and what was thought). Your impression?

I've always said that Kuno wasn't that bad deep down. When push comes to shove, Kuno pulls through and really does care. I suspect Ranma knows this, and _simultaneously_ creeps him out and finds it touching.

Another instance when they first met and Ranma gets thrown a bouquet of flowers. It creeped him out, but that was _later_. In that instance, in the field, Ranma was left speechless.
"So Igor wasn't kidding. Most people just ensure they won't die cold and alone by making friends...I gain superpowers and have mysterious voices tell me I did a good job. My life is a goddamn mess."
