Mrs. Tendo question

In the manga, was even a rough estimate of when she died given? I can remember one flashback with Akane given, but that's all we've seen about her specifically.

I double checked what sourced in the manga I could find, just to make sure, and there's no real clear idea when Mrs. Tendo died, that I could find. Akane looks about five or six in the memory, so the general fanon estimate of around ten years is as close as I can approximate.
With the sources presented, and without digging back in depth, I can't get any closer. Sorry.

The reason I asked was a random thought. Everyone assumes she died years ago, but what if it was more recent? It could explain a few things if she'd died within a year or two, and ALL the Tendo's were still mourning.
I think the anime episode where Nodoka came to visit and ended up cooking with Ranma and Akane may have influenced this. The whole thing about Mrs. Tendo's notebook was added for the anime, and had the whole flashback thing with Kasumi.

The "years ago" really isn't an assumption - Akane states (in the first Nodoka manga chapter) that her mother died "when I was very young ...". Furthermore, the mother/daughter flashback scene just before this statement shows Akane in a common youchien (kindergarten) outfit, so you can make a reasonable assumption that Mrs. Tendo died sometime near when Akane began grade school - which would be about 10 years from the start of the manga.
