Which one? There were three. The first was a simple fighter (level/arena-based), the second was a digital comic (Ranma 1/2: Toraware no Hanayome (The Captive Bride)), and the third was another fighter, somewhat like the first. Both fighters mostly just follow the canon storyline. (Edit: Okay, by the mention of Shampoo's father as the end-boss, which I seem to have conveniently ignored the first time around, you're referring to the first game. It's been too long since I've played all three games, so I don't remember the boss fight, exactly. -_- I did get through it, I know.)
The second is, unfortunately, the only one of the three that I picked up, so I don't remember the third's full title offhand... the first is just "Ranma 1/2.")
I don't really recall Ranma using any new/invented techniques in it - but then, it has been some time since I last played it, and my system doesn't want to play CDs anymore. So, if I want to play it, I have to find a PCE-CD emulator for Linux that works.
(I know of some for Windows that work, but I don't want to have to boot back to Win98 on this system (all of my newer systems are in other rooms than my bedroom
) just to use them.
)
(Weird. GameFAQs doesn't seem to list any of them.
