With all the recent excitement about the new season of Slayers, I went out and bought the 2 slayers OVAs and the 5 movies. Adding that to my collection of Season 1, an idea for a fic began to form.

But then I looked on Wikipedia, and found out there are about 50 light novels of Slayers, mostly set before the series, during the OVA's and movies.

Does anyone know anything about them? Are any in english? Places I could buy/download some? Do they star Naga? Or Lina's sister? Any information, or links to good websites would be appreicated.

Tokyopop licensed and translated some of them, they should be on amazon.

Huh. I thought the Slayers novels were about Naga and Lina, before the anime. Guess not.

The special novels, not the regular ones. I must admit I haven't read them because I'm not all that interested in Naga, though.

Is it 50 novels, or 15? I'm pretty sure I've read it as 15 before.

15 regular novels. And at least as many special novels, I think quite a bit more than that. 50 total sounds about right.
