Anime Location Floorplans

Postby TheZorch » Thu May 25, 2006 5:01 pm

I have a copy of an original floorplan for the Tendo home in Ranma 1/2. Interesting enough Kasumi's bedroom is right across the hall from Ranma and Genma's room. Its been invaluable in planning out scenes in my Ranma 1/2 fan fiction as well as planning out battles in the Tendo home.
Anyway, I am looking for floorplans for other Anime locations if they exist.
* Furinken High School (Ranma 1/2)
* The Morrisato Residence (Ah! My Goddess)
* The Masaki Home (Tenchi Muyo Ryu-Ohki)
* The Kuno Estate (Ranma 1/2)
* NERV Headquarters & Terminal Dogma (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Also, I'm trying to find floorplans for the Macross and for the Nadesco also.

And in the Tendo floor plans the bathroom is on the ground floor and the only Tendo whose room has a view of the pond is Kasumi's.

Floorplans

Thnnks for the URL. That pic you posted is what I have up on my wall next to my PC. I refer to it whenever I need to plan out a scene in the Tendo home. The Masaki home and grounds into from the site will help.
Now all I need are the others.

Here's a site with the Tendo house diagram similar to the one in an above post but it also has an ariel view of the outside of the house and a shed in the corner of the Tendo compound:

I remember seeing a floor plan of the Kuno estate but I can't find it anymore. Sorry.

Also, don't forget that Tendo-ke in the anime is an "Escher House", in that it is quite impossible to fit the floorplans as given inside the walls of the house as viewed from the outside. In other words, the insides & outsides of the house don't match.
For those of you who doubt this ... I have tried more than once to make Tendo-ke "come out right", using semi-professional architectural design software. It simply doesn't work.

Here Shade's version of the Tendo Dojo look it up . . . especially the movie let you see much of the Tendo Dojo but be warned it's for adults only:

Precisely my point, Hiryo. Shade used a version which matched the exterior of Tendo ... approximately ... and modified the interior floorplan to make it work out. Given the floorplans as is, that is not possible.
