How would everyone react?

I wasn't entirely sure whether I should post this here, in Ideas or even in Ranma, but I finally decided that this seemed like the most likely place. A scenario has recently come to mind, and I was wondering if people mgith be able to satisfy my curiosity.

The basis behind my question is this scenario: Ranma's 17th birthday has finally rolled around, and the Tendo dojo (in a contrast to the cliche) actually realises this and celebrates it for him, which eventually turns into a party where all of his fiancees and rivals (who relly constitute the whole of his social circle, unlike Akane who has practically the whole class on her friendship list- see the episode where she ends up in hospital) show up. Now, in this makeshift scenario, there is alcohol at the party- precisely why escapes me, though the logical conclusion is that Soun & Genma intended to get Ranma & Akane drunk and marry them off.

Anyway, this is more a theoretical question than a practical, so to continue... Ranma, for whatever reason, gets drunk- in fact, everyone ends up at least somewhat inebriated by the time evening sets and the party essentiall collapses as folks decide to get some sleep. Unfortunately, Ranma and one of the girls was drunk enough that they ended up doing a bit more than sleeping, as evidenced when they wake up naked in the same bed the next day.

As you've probably quessed from the title, my question is thus: how would everyone react to the above scenario (in brief, Ranma and a girl having sex while drunk), dependant upon which girl actually slept with Ranma? How would Ranma take sleeping with a girl, how would a girl take sleeping with him, and how would everyone else take Ranma sleeping with someone?

Two words: Justifiable Homicide, either against Ranma or against the girl, or both.

Depending on the girl in question, there might also be celebrations by some like Mousse and Gosunkugi. If it was any of the Tendo Girls, a priest would be fetched posthaste. If it were Nodoka . . . there are things no man was meant to know.

Honestly, their reactions are fairly predictable, especially if there was proof the pair had actually done the deed.

It also has a lot to do with how skilled Nabiki is in this author's world. If it is one those ones where she has Ranma's room bugged, hidden camera's etc then they are pretty screwed and you can go with the above reactions.

On the other hand if she is closer to canon and only a mortal human not some super all knowing thing I would bet Ranma try his best to hide it if he can. Not just for his own life, but for the fact being he would greatly fear for the girls life, especialy if she wasn't a strong fiance like Kasumi, one of Akane's school friends, or even Nabiki could greatly fear for her life if put in the spot light.

That would more then likely be the imediate reaction if Ranma felt he could possibly hide the action, trying to save their lives. Long term wise it would obviously fail, nothing in Ranma's life ever seems to work out like that not to mention the possbility the two might develop some stronger relationship.

Girl wise, if it was any the fiancee's but Akane they more then likely be estatic and try use the event as a means to push their claim forward. Akane probably cry pervert and hit Ranma, even if she secretly liked the act.

The other fiance's would obviously turn on the girl, to a point. If it was some one like Akane they would most likely not kill her, if they act rationaly because they would realise Ranma would only hate them if Akane died and it could be traced back to them.

If it was a girl that did not have a major claim to Ranma, she might like what happend. Every one always says how cute Ranma is and how every girl swoons of his physical appearance. But more then likely they be scared for their life about the fall out. There is a big reason no normal school girl apraoched Ranma and that was because they feared the fiancee's after seeing them in action.

The male rivals really pends on who Ranma slept with, if it's not their girl they more then likely be estatic. If it was theirs they scream bloody murder and probably kill him more then ever.

Adults are pretty much the same, if it was a girl they supported they be happy if not they yell at Ranma and try change things in their favor. Only reall toss up is Cologne, she never really seemd to care that much if Shampoo got Ranma. A lot of her advice seemed to be for her own amusement, and often caused nothing but trouble for Shampoo's goal to get Ranma.

In the long run this really seems like the normal set up for a Ranma leaves Nerima story, because once the chaos gets out there would be no rest for him or the girl. Kind reminds me of the start of some those Ranma and Nabiki, Kasumi etc fics I have read.

I'd say that for the rivals, it really depends how the author would want to play it. Either they could be happy that Ranma is NOT with whoever they want, or they could try to kill Ranma for the insult of rejecting whoever they're after. These people aren't exactly widely known for thinking things through...
