Sailor Senshi as funerary honour guard?

Okay fellow fanfic aficionados, I'm hopeful you've all got some input here on this. I'm working on the funeral service for Ranma, where her body, dressed in shinto white funeral kimono, is on a white table on a dais in front of a large crowd of Japanese and international dignitaries and certain family members. The Emperor is presiding over the services, unawares of a group of disguised goddess' and demons in the crowd...
Now, I want to get the chaos rolling by having Sailor Moon give a short, dignified, speech for the dearly not-so-departed Ranma. But I'm curious as to how I should dress Moon and the entirety of the assembled Senshi. Firstly I'm aging them all in their early 20's, I'm thinking of having S-Moon be as formal as formal can be suitable for a dignified funerary service, and the assembled Senshi to eschew the normal fuku's and instead be more in a Honor Guard style clothing, flanking S-Moon on the dais. So, are we looking at Military styled feminine-cut dress uniforms in their usual fuku colors, or are we looking at the Senshi in gowns and such? Black veils and sniffling?
Any ideas how Mercury, Venus, Moon, T-Mask, chibi-Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto should be dressed for a formal Imperial Funeral?

Once I get the kinks out of this part of Daimakaicho Ranma, the rest of the chapter is pretty ho-hum with Samurai wanna-be body theft/necrophilia, mutual Tendo/Saotome pants wetting with fear as they're, oh let's say, "reintroduced" with the departed (with a vengeance!), Hild says something, yadda yadda, pretty usual stuff...

Don't the Senshi's identities get revealed? If this is after that they could wear just about anything you think is appropriate even color coordinated suits.

Huh? I'm not exactly a SM expert, so this is news to me. Care to elaborate, like when and how their identities are revealed? And since this is a AU story, couldn't I just ignore that?

I was told it did end up happening. I'd have to do allot of reading and watching myself to be sure about it. At least I have scans and subs on hand to do that.

And there's no reason to include it if you dont want to. Maybe you could do what Cloud Dreamer added into his recent Earth Princess chapter making it so that they can change their Uniforms to any appearance they want so long as they do it on their world. (or in Moon's case in the Lunar Palace.)

I'd say funeral Kimonos for Rei, Makoto, Hotaru and Ami. They seem to be the most formal and traditional.

Neptune and Uranus in matching conservative black suits (avante garde). Dignified dresses for Pluto, Moon and Chibi-Moon. I'm not sure either the Moon Kingdom or Crystal Tokyo had a military class to have uniforms for.

Note, I didn't short cut because I couldn't spell their names. Usagi, Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru and Rini go as Senshi, the others go as civilians. (Always keep a reserve out of sight).

I'd go for Moon as Princess Serenity. The outfit is proper funereal white.
