Does anyone know what Ami's mother's first name is? I can't seem to find a reference to it anywhere.

I think Kumori is a common fanon name given to her, but I just checked wikipedia and a SM specific site, and the closest the Dr. Mizuno has to a listed personal name is Mizuno-sensei. She doesn't even get a speaking role in the anime.

What is known about her is 1: She is a highly successful doctor at a hospital in Juuban. The exact branch of medicine she works in is not specified. 2: She is frequently busy with her work, and regrets not being able to spend more time with her daughter. Most communication between Dr. Mizuno and her daughter consists of messages written on a dry-erase board. 3: Despite the fact that they don't spend much time together, Ami looks up to her mother, and her mother's success in her career is a sizable part of the reason why Ami wants to be a doctor. Wikipedia
