Ikuko Tsukino

So what do we know about Usagi's mother (Ikuko Tsukino), anyways? What sort of person is she? What does she want for herself, and what does she want for her daughter? I'm in the midst of writing a scene in which Ikuko has discovered Usagi's identity as Sailor Moon, and I realized partway through that I wasn't nearly familiar enough with Ikuko's character.

Here's how one SM site (Link) describes Usagi's mother:

Ikuko Tsukino is Usagi's mother. She is named after the mother of Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon. Ikuko appears first in Episode 01 of the anime, and Act 01, Volume 01 of the manga. She is a full-time mother and housewife. She is married to Kenji Tsukino, and has two children, Usagi Tsukino and Shingo Tsukino. She also takes care of ChibiUsa, having been brainwashed into believing that she is Usagi's cousin. She even adopts ChibiChibi, believing that she is Usagi's little sister. She also likes Luna very much. Her dream is to see both Usagi and ChibiUsa be married one day. She collects photographs, and has photo albums full of pictures of her family. She likes to cook, and is very good at it. According to Usagi in Episode 130, she is especially adept at making lemon pies. Despite all of her domestic skills, however, it is learned in Episode 16 that she cannot sew. She seems very strict at times, but she just wants her children to do well. She is often seen yelling at Usagi about her grades, or to get out of bed. She often reminds Usagi of things she has forgotten - such as cleaning her room or doing her homework. She is a very nurturing and caring woman, and takes her role as a mother ver seriously. In episode 130, Hawkseye takes advantage of her caring and generous nature to target her for her Dream Mirror, but she is rescued by Sailor Moon and the senshi. She lives with her family in a two-story house in the Azabu Juuban District. Her seiyuu in the anime is Sanae Takagi.
