Senshi-General pairings

In one of the Manga's there is a picture of the four inners and the generals. I'm curious about who was paired with who for a fic idea.
Also were there any males that were ever associated with the outers and Saturn.

That picture was idea that Naoko played with but didn't actually get to the story, though there was a panel were Venus blushed at Kunzite...
Well, anyway the pairings were like so:
Kunzite/Venus
Nephrite/Jupiter
Jadeite/Mars
Zoicite/Mercury
Nobody for the Outers (especially Pluto ), hardly anybody knew they existed, remember.
No pairings at all for the Outers except for Uranus/Neptune, and Saturn always appears 12/13 and/or under so she probably has no interest in boys (or girls!) that way.

But yeah, it's probably that the outers were more or less a non factor, being stationed away from any civilization or whatever....

While 12 year olds *can* be boy crazy, Hotaru never showed any signs of it. Total social ostracism can tend to do that to a person, though; the way Hotaru reacted to Chibi-Usa and her offer of friendship, I do not think she ever had any friends before that.

A little similar to Ranma in that regard, actually.
In regards to the actual question, the only problem I can see is the relationship Zoicite and Kunzite have in both the original anime and manga, which may be the reason the idea for the Inners and Generals was scrapped....

Eh, doesn't mean the situation is unsalvagable, just means that both Zoicite and Kunzite are bisexual.

To be honest my idea doens't really have anything to do with the Generals and the Senshi becoming couples. I'm using the pairings for another reason.
Are there any males that could serve as opposites to the Outers and Saturn, doesn't have to be from Sailor Moon.

Exactly what kind of 'opposites' are you looking for? The Generals certainly aren't much in the way of 'opposite' to the Inner Senshi. Are you looking for personality? Powers?

I guess I'm looking for males that could be coupled with the Outers and Saturn. Not that they will be, but a sort of "What If" scenario.

Sailor Pluto -----> The Doctor (Doctor Who)
They'd drive each other insane. Obviously, they're perfect for each other.
Sailor Saturn -----> Grim (from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy)
Hotaru-chan would need a few years, of course. Like maybe when she was ten years older.
Uranus and Neptune, though, I cannot give suggestions on, as they're my favorite couple in the series, and the thought of breaking them up horrifies me.

I've only looked at the manga as I can't read Japanese(My mother own the complete Sailor Moon series), but I've also heard that their relationship was Anime only. In the manga Nephrite's desguised himself as a woman too.

I believe that was Nephrite's 'Shadow', there not Nephrite himself.

The Tenth Doctor? He'd probably annoy her the most, cause he seems to be the most cheerful from what I've seen.
The Ninth is scary. >.<
EDIT: I haven't seen any Doctor/Setsuna fics, though I've read one were he strongly hinted at being her father.

I always thought the reason was because it was the Princess and her four senshi and Endymion and his four generals.
As for opposites to the Outers, Saturn could be an opposite to Ranma since she was portrayed as quiet, intelligent, disliking exercise and with a bullied past, while Ranma is more outgoing and only intelligent in things relating to martial arts. Pluto we don't really know much about to find out what her opposite is and Neptune and Uranus seem to go well together, though you could possible pair Starlights with them, if you go with the anime's version of them being male.
