Just a thought, perhaps the 'Plan B' line would work better if it included something like, 'Whatshisname will bury you.'
Don't have to be blatent, just a hint as to whats coming to bait the readers.

Just thinking...mabie add something in the line above more specific about how Metallia's (or Metallica's ) plan was finished but Beryl's still had a back-up.
That way, it would help establish that Beryl and Metallia's goals were different.

Don't forget some people don't age well. Genma could well have been handsome when that age. Even now he's not really fat... or perhaps I should say he's let some fat overlay what is still an incredibly strong body.
Just look at what some extremely beautiful people 20-30 years ago looked like and compare them to today. Some age well and others ....
Do like the "stalker" Nodoka image here with her more than willing to use magic to get what she wants. Not a big stretch of the imigination ... though rarely portrayed this way.
Probably because we'd all like Ranma to have one (moderately) reasonable person we often forget what she's like in canon.

Be a pretty neat dynamic. Kind of funny too. Has a karmic aspect to it too. Nodaka product of Beryl. Genma product of Nodoka. Ranma product of Genma. So in a twisted way its all Ranmas fault. Im sure the irony of the situation will surface for him at somepoint.
