I like your ideas. I'll try to work some of them into the story. I'll have to rewrite it anyway. I was told on TFF that it was very boring.

This is better then before. You need to work on the fights more, right now it feels to much like I'm playing the game. Think about how you would feel fighting a mist dragon and put that in.

Yeah. I need to work on the Mist Dragon fight. As for the others, the monsters are killed with one strike. There's not much I can do to make the fights interesting.

Could be. I might use it as a blue magic skill. Some blue magic spells he'll definitely learn are the Goblin Punch (he'll combine it with the Kacuu Tenchu Amaguriken to obtain a frigetening speed and power), 1000 Needles and Healing Wind (the original version from FF V, not the watered down version from later games). And I'll probably create some new ones.

I don't know about shoving the events with Happosai into a flashback in the next chapter. It just seems to fragment the story unnecessarily and makes a fairly short chapter more so.
