Go back and re-read/watch the fight with Orochimaru/Kabuto in the Retrieve Tsunade fight. Remember that Naruto's regeneration is based on the Kyuubi itself where Kabuto's is only a product of his 'old blood' nowhere near as potent. (Though if you go via PTS *arch, the pain* its generally safer)
