I've been working on this one for a year or so now, just showing it to people I talk to on IRC*, but I think it's about time to give it a slightly wider audience and see how it goes down. Tearing off limbs isn't what I'd call a long distance from trying to kill someone and in this hypothetical Akane is dead rather than in danger of dying, which seems somewhat more likely to engender a killing rage to me.

I think some of you overestimate Ranma's tolerance levels. He's easy-going, sure, but just ask Saffron about how he reacts to someone really giving killing Akane the old college try. The lifespan of Akane's killer would be very, very short if Ranma didn't sink into a massive depression first.
