Untitled Ranma/Naruto crossover fic (New: Ch. 26)

I've been working on this one for a year or so now, just showing it to people I talk to on IRC*, but I think it's about time to give it a slightly wider audience and see how it goes down. Feedback is, of course, appreciated, though I think it's fair to say that there won't be any fundamental reworki...

Tearing off limbs isn't what I'd call a long distance from trying to kill someone and in this hypothetical Akane is dead rather than in danger of dying, which seems somewhat more likely to engender a killing rage to me.

I think some of you overestimate Ranma's tolerance levels. He's easy-going, sure, but just ask Saffron about how he reacts to someone really giving killing Akane the old college try. The lifespan of Akane's killer would be very, very short if Ranma didn't sink into a massive depression first.

You can piece together a pretty good explanation of what the Dark Side is from the teachings Yoda passed on to Luke and from a few lines in the ROTS novelisation. As per Yoda, the Force is generated by all life. As per Mace Windu, the Force amplifies emotions in a self-reinforcing feedback loop. My ...

Nuriko, are you by chance referring to Tsukimaonichuan: Spring of Drowned Moon Cat by Innortal? 'Cause I remember Akane becoming a lesser moon senshi in that one... Sounds more like Cats by Robert Haynie AKA Kenko (I think) to me. Worth a read, that. Not sure where you'd find it on the web these da...

Diplomacy hasn't worked with North Korea but violence hasn't been an option there for a very long time either. The North doesn't have the resources or the technology to sustain a war effort against the South these days, but they do have enough artillery pieces pointed at Seoul to make any victory ov...

We also only have the tail end of the Akane/Kuno story. I doubt it went from zero to hentai horde without plenty of steps between. For all we know, she's told him very clearly to get lost a thousand times over to no success and by the time of the manga she's simply given up on the idea of a simple '...

Ranma defeated Shampoo without even the vaguest indication of effort on his part. It was even more of a mismatch than Ryoga's attempt to fight Ranma at the beginning of the Breaking Point story arc.

I don't think that any girl could really imagine marrying Ranma for his obvious faults: pride and foot-in-mouth-disease (I'm not sure if his misogyny is only a fandom invention or canon). If he'd be able to get rid of these faults I could imagine a lot of good matches. Misogyny is most definitely a...

The new style is very nice-looking indeed, but I use SubSilver on pretty much every phpBB forum I visit. I can't bring myself to dump the old faithful.

The way I see things, the Senshis' in-built magic is elemental in nature, and their natural abilities will go along those lines too, but magic is magic in the end. There's nothing to stop them learning to work with other aspects even if they'll never be as powerful in them as someone who has a speci...

Wow, nice chapter. I've been looking forward to this being updated for a while. The talk with Ranma and Genma about the unsealing of the forbidden techniques was done well then. It showed a serious side to Ranma and Genma that to many authors overlook. The fight was done well, though I don't see Ra...

Not bad at all. Dialog is natural. It bogs down a bit like when Ranma's talking with his father to unseal those tecniques. Desription is pretty solid. Some of the character interaction could be more engaging to the reader, but relativly speaking it's not bad. At this point it's practice to keep imp...

It Never Rains But It Pours Chapter Three

Yup, I finally wrote it. I'm quite sorry about how long it took, but the first couple of scenes were a real monkey on my back. Once I'd gotten those done - and it took a fair few delete and start again moments - the rest came naturally. Feedback, as always, will be much appreciated from anyone who w...
