Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

The horror... the Horrors... Twin abominations against any form of sanity stood down this hallway. Standing at fifteen feet tall, they easily towered over the bravest of Alliance marines. They were misshapen, hulking bipedal creatures, reminding Shepard of the huskified combination of turian and kro...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Shepard kept her eyes peeled as Jones exited the storefront. After he gave the go ahead, she wheeled her way out the door and moved herself into a partially covered position. She looked down the corridor and internally grimaced. The bomb had decimated the hall, blowing out the entries to several sto...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Just realized that the entire beginning of the fic was missing and it jumped in into the middle. Updated the first post with the rewritten beginning up to where it was before at the end. I'll be making continuity edits to the other posts tomorrow.

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Shepard hadn’t been on Arcturus Station in a number of years, not since she graduated from the N7 program and was awarded her first posting. She’d fought tooth and nail to earn her placement, and when they’d put her on Elysium, she’d put her best foot forward. Then the Skyllian Blitz happened, and s...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Anderson left the command of the Tokyo to his XO as he headed onto Arcturus Station. While the Alliance’s government center was no Citadel, the station was the peak of human engineering. At least it was at the time the station was constructed. Though well maintained, the station had been up since be...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Flesh... Bone... Bound together with the oddest magickal incantation. This wretched book is where it all began so long ago. Before time, before humanity. I am Doctor Edward Roivas. I am a clinical Psychologist. I am also dead. This is not my story, nor even the story of the Roivas family. It is the...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Shepard looked at Anderson incredulously and said, “That’s a joke, right?” Well, at least she attempted to, but what came out was more of a dry-mouthed gasp. Despite the IV pumping her full of fluid, she had a dry mouth from the removal of the tube. Luckily Doctor Chakwas was nearby with a glass of ...

Re: [Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancien

Some notes. The first bit is at the end of Mass Effect 3, with the second part of it being a location from Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Specifically the Temple of Eternal Darkness, the location the Tome rests at when it's between owners.

The third part... is going to be shown soon enough.

[Mass Effect/Eternal Darkness] The Problem of the Ancients

Three choices stood before her, three impossible choices. All her hard work, all the building up, all the gathering led to this single point of failure. Her and her choice. Any choice she made now could save the galaxy or doom it, but regardless of what happened, she wouldn’t be around to see the re...

Re: [Digimon Tamers/Ranma] Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep

Akane worked diligently in the kitchen. She took out the various pots, pans, bowls, and utensils she knew she needed for this dish. Akane knew she wasn’t that great a cook. Still, she aspired to get better and the only way to do so was to cook. Lucky for her, she had a bunch of people here ready to ...

Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep? Chapter Three

****************************** Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep? By Ellf ***************************** Chapter Three: Evolution. Not a myth. Disclaimer: Namco Bandai owns Digimon, Rumiko Takahashi created Ranma. Jenrya didn’t know what to do just yet. A DarkTyrannomon and a Seadramon were right the...

Re: [Digimon Tamers/Ranma] Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep

Yamaki hadn’t been in the clinic that long, maybe six minutes or so, before the door to the examination room slid open. First out of the room was Gatomon, and if he recalled correctly, that was Saotome’s partner. It would make sense if Saotome was injured for his partner to come in with him to make ...

Re: [Digimon Tamers/Ranma] Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep

Inside the examination room, Ranma was laying on the table as Doctor Tofu took a good look at her. Gatomon wasn’t quite sure how much she trusted this doctor as he wanted to keep her out of here. Ranma was her partner. She needed to make sure that he was safe. “Please stay over there, miss... Gatomo...

Re: [Digimon Tamers/Ranma] Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep

Damn that traffic. He knew as he was driving that he’d be too late one way or the other, but on the off-chance that he could be of some help, he drove to Nerima. Yamaki wasn’t even halfway there when he got the call from Onodera. The kids had managed to pull a victory out of nowhere, without his hel...

Re: [Digimon Tamers/Ranma] Do Digimon Dream of Digital Sheep

Oh boy, he was glad that was over. Big digital fields out of nowhere were scaaary things. The last time he ran into one of those... actually, he didn’t remember much about it. It probably wasn’t all that important, but digital fields were definitely bad, and that one was very bad with its black stuf...
