I get the thrown off feeling. Same for me. What threw me most was the somewhat more elongated face of Usagi. Probably something watching 3 episodes should cure I guess :) Animation is definitly updated and using more modern means to build the scenes. Characters seem pretty much based on the origina...
That's... a long time. ^^; Yes, I KNOW! I'm looking at the top shelf of my anime collection: Rahxephon wasn't THAT long ago, right? Wrong, 2001. Gasaraki is older. Gundam SEED is 2002. Full Metal Panic is 2002. Escaflowne is 1996. Evangelion, 1995. I've got ADV's first DVD-only release, Princess Ni...
Oh, you're right. Why did I think it was the tiger that did it? Akane reacted to the tiger more than Ranma did; he barely seemed to notice it except when it roared, and even then it was just his hair standing on end and that could be just from the volume.* And looking at it, doesn't it seem that it'...
When the Nekoken is first revealed, the 'straw that broke the camel's back' was a tiger. He'd managed to hold on, barely, until then. We might argue that anyone would be afraid of a loose tiger, but I think Takahashi's intent was that it was a big CAT that sent him into the Nekoken.
I thought it was really good. Lots of flaws in characters that'll be perfect for character development. I liked that the Thundercats kingdom isn't perfect. I'm really, truly looking forward to seeing where they go with this series. :D Also, non-talking Snarf that's actually cute. And the big thing f...
Cooking: yeah, this one should be a no-brainer. What makes this nutty is that she knows her cooking is bad. She knows , because she's tasted her own food (most of the time after others have tried it) plenty of times. (I can think of at least three times: during the breaking point training, the saku...
Second episode for season 17 . I liked this one. It's a challenge episode, but not one of limited budget. Hot hatchbacks FTW. Learned a new bit of British slang in the news segment. And the Grand Prix track at Monaco is pretty intense. It was actually kind of exciting just watching them go ar...
The new Stig . Yeah, I liked the idea of a faceless racing driver that never talks. I thought it was funny when guests see the lengths they go to in order to hide who it is. Of course now people can have fun speculating as to who the new Stig is. Though I admit to hoping for a different color, I un...
Here you go for the parts with the Mums. The whole episode is here . And I also loved the Peel P50, particularly when you can see it drive past in the background of a new cast. They did something similar with a small RC car that can drive on windows. One of the things that I wish BBC America would ...
