@ Nekomata-sensei: The way you said that feels like you've read a fic that's written in the same manner. Any links? BTW, it turns out there _IS_ a Super Sentai section in FF.net located HERE . Unfortunately, for one thing, I'm not familiar with many of the ones posted there (I've only seen one Bioma...

I hate Power Rangers with a passion but still it IS a sentai series although if the idiots from Saban haven't kept much from material from the original Japanese sentai series apart from the battles. *chuckle* Okay... okay, I guess technically they are sentai. But I was refering to more on the origi...

Searching for Ranma/Super Sentai series crossovers

I'm looking for any Ranma/ Super Sentai series crossovers that is _NOT_ Power Rangers, or Saban produced series. Though I've seen some crossovers with Power Rangers (some on the Lady Cosmos site), I just don't consider Power Rangers as a legitimate sentai series anyway. It doesn't help that FF.net d...

Not sure I understand the reference. Un... You did say a "teacher who understands Ranma". Unfortunately, I only know two anime teachers though that might apply here, GTO=Great Teacher Onizuka (though he's definitely not on Ranma's level), and Gokusen is about a female teacher who's actual...

It started with two Super Robots series: Voltes Five and Daimos, being aired on free TV somewhere between '94-'95. I learned later on that they were reruns from the 80's, if I was not mistaken. During this time, other channels were also airing other anime like Magic Knight Rayearth, Tenchi Muyo, Dra...

If you mean running close together, then yes. The farther apart the ships are, the more the difference grows. Though it wasn't the answer I was expecting, at least that covered one aspect of that method. What I meant to ask was the distance of the enemy from the ship/fleet/detector. But I guess tha...

Making a spaceship barrel roll is wasteful of energy. *snip* They would need to have forward thrust, sideways thrust, and downward thrust all at the same time, whether they are in atmosphere or space. Plus, Gundam spaceships do not have artificial gravity, so the g-forces and coriolis effects on th...

Time travel. Teacher who understands Ranma. I'm sure you can fill in the last slot yourself. GTO or Gokusen, then  ? Though, Time Travel is kinda too 'Deux Ex', and you'll have to deal with all those paradoxes too. *shrug* Meep... But it's still probably better than my solution: Cross Ranma wi...

As for attitude changes while there aren't necessarily used in SEED you can simply use Pitch, Yaw and Roll. "Increase/Decrease Pitch/Yaw/Roll by x degrees" works for general maneuvering. Heh, yeah... I remember Captain Ramius saying something along the lines of "Pitch 30 degrees down...

I'm not as familiar with SEED technology as I am with the Universal Century universe. But if the general base sciences of the two are similar, they still use radar as their means of detecting things that are not in visual contact. Yeah. They're quite the same. Minovsky particles are just about the ...

Cosmic Era (Gundam SEED) Space Navigation

I need help for a fic I'm working on. It's a fan fic rendition of the Grimaldi Front battle referenced from Gundam SEED. Anyway, I'm familiar already with the history of the Cosmic Era thanks to Gundam Official , technologies and mecha specs thanks to MAHQ , and, in case I missed something else, Wik...

The TV broadcast and subsequent re-uniting of Keitaro and Naru... For some reason that episode kinda stuck with me. Yeah, I really liked that episode too. Though, I initially felt sorry for Keitaro having to roam all over Tokyo or something with a leg injury, but it felt worth it when Naru made tha...

Memorable X-mas eps. in anime

Well, since it's the Christmas season, I thought this topic would be perfect. Give an example of memorable Christmas episodes in anime. It could be romantic memories, tragic ones, or action filled ones, it doesn't matter! A few simple rules to start though: 1.) Only one anime/manga per post. 2.) Inc...

A simple greeting perhaps may suffice...

Um... Hi. New guy here. And before you get to the name, no I'm not a priest (trickster, Judas, or otherwise...). Anyway, I've been lurking these forums for quite a bit, even the first incarnation (the one with the Fukufic list..), albeit I wasn't a registered member then. Though my knowledge of Ranm...
