A posible twist on the ta'veren could be that Ranma is not one. He Atracts them, not realy afecting the weave derectly but pulling ta'veren together in a way.... Just a thought. And the Wise ones might just keep Ranma so she can pass things like the Amaguriken on to the maidens. Much staby goodness....

I'll take that Question:

In the Manga the DRR is not a "Destroy the world" Attack. It sends ribbons of energy out and drains the target dealing a great deal of damage. The Nuke the world attack was refferenced as "Saturn droping her Glave".
